Edward Cullen x reader

Chapter 1

I was staring out the window of the car as we pulled up to our new house. The outside looked the same as we had left it. I stepped of the car and looked at the house, then to the guys next to me.
"Y/n, Bella, these guys are my friends. You used to know them."
One guy spoke: "well you guys probably don't remember us but you might remember Jacob. Bella and him used to play all the time and Jacob's been talking about her a lot lately!" Jacob playfully hit the guys shoulder.
I spoke " well the weathers definitely different here then Arizona..." I glanced at Bella and she glanced at me.
"Ya definitely..." said Bella looking at Jacob.
There was awkward silence for a bit until Bella spoke.
"So who's cars are these?" She said pointing to the two trucks in front of us, one blue and one orange.
"Oh right we'll we decided you guys each need a little homecoming present, so we got you each a car. You orange one is belllas and the blue ones y/n's."
"Oh my god thank you so much!" I said
"Ya this is really amazing dad!" Bella spoke after me
After talking for a little while we started heading inside. We got to our rooms. Ours were across the hall from each other. They looked exactly the same to. Tomorrow is our first day of school so I got an outfit and put it on the dresser.
The next day
       Bella was nervous for the first day of school but not as nervous as me. I've been homeschooled my entire life so this is my first time going to a real school. We wanted to test out our new cars so we each drove our own to school. When we got there everyone was staring at us.
"Is this normal or are we being judged?" I whispered to Bella
"Relax everything is gonna be fine." She reassured me.
Just when she said that a boy came up to us.
"Hey you guys are Bella and y/n right?"
"Umm ya..." I said quietly.
"Great! Well I'm Eric and if you guys need anything, I'm at your service."
"Great thank you!" Bella told him as he walked away
"Wow..." I said
"Ya... wow."
A few moments later
I made it to my first two classes fine, and before I knew it, it was lunchtime. I found Bella and we found some people she knew.
There was Jessica, Eric, mike, and Angela. We were all talking together when I saw some people walking into the cafeteria.
"Who are they?" I asked
"Oh... those are the cullens. Those two are Rosalie and emmet. It's like super weird because there like, dating but they were all adopted by the same parents. So their basically siblings." Jessica said
"It's not like there actually related." Mike said
"It's still gross. Anyway those are Alice and jasper. Their also dating. But be careful of jasper. People say he's a freak. He stairs at everyone."
"Oh... we'll who's that?" Another guy walked in but he was alone.
"That's Edward Cullen. But beware because he's definitely not gonna like you. I mean he doesn't like anyone. I tried asking him out once and he just walked away." Jessica stated
"Oh ok..." I said my eyes still on him. As he passed our table we made eye contact.
After lunch
Once lunch was over I was heading to my next class. The class was physics. When I walked in, I was asking the teacher wear to sit, and I saw that I sat next to Edward. When I looked at him I saw him cover his nose with his hand like I stealth or something. I went to sit down and he just stared at me. We didn't talk even one time after that.
It had been a week sense the first day of school and Edward hadn't been there sense the first day. I wanted to confront him but I couldn't. Finally one day I saw him in the parking lot before school started. He was staring at me but I didn't care. Once it was physics I sat by him and looked at him.
"Hi..." he said
"Um hi?"
"Y/n right?"
"Ya that's me. You weren't here for awhile..." I said trying to make small talk
"Ya I went on a trip."
"Oh..."
"You can go first." He said.
"Thank you."
We got the assignment done it's some time to spare so we talked for a bit.
"Are you liking the weather?" Edward asked
"Well... I'm certainly not used to it."
"Ya it's different from Arizona."
"How'd you know I'm from Arizona?"
"I uh talked to your sister earlier. She talked a lot about you."
"Oh god... she probably said something embarrassing."
"No no... she didn't..."
"Um ok good. So what are your siblings like?"
"There good. They can be a bit much though."
"Ya I get it... my sister Is a pain in the ass but I love her."
"Ya.." he said chuckling slightly. Just then the bell rang. I gathered my stuff and Edward walked me to my locker. So where did you go?"
"What?"
"On your trip last week..."
"Oh umm nowhere important."
"Ok?" I said smiling. When we got to my locker I looked Edward in the eye.
"Woah yours eyes..." I said
"What?" He said flustered
"They we're black earlier and now they're gold..."
"Oh uh it's the... lighting." He said and walked away
