chapter 34

"we aren't going clubbing anytime soon..." Cameron says.

he, Carly, Nash and I are all sitting in my house just talking about random things.

"I think that's a good idea." Carly says. this is the first time she has ever been in the hospital, and I was surprised that she wasn't freaking out.

"do you remember anything?" I ask her.

"not one thing. all I remember is waking up for a split second in the ambulance truck. I also remember hearing all of you guys." she says.

"hearing?" Cameron asks.

"yeah. when I was asleep, I could hear you guys. I couldn't move at all, though." she says.

"wow.." Cameron says, shocked. I find it pretty shocking too.

"me and cam should get going. it's pretty late." Carly says, checking the time in her phone.

I check the time on mine, and its 9:00pm. fuck...im wide awake.

"bye. drive safe." I say, as they exit my house. this just leaves me and Nash.

"well, what do you want to do?" he asks.

"we should just lay down. I'm pretty exhausted." I say.

"alright." he says, getting up from my couch and following me into my bedroom.

I lay down, and feel a large dip on the side of the bed next to me.

1:00am and I can't sleep. I'm too worried. I've thought about something. an important subject.

what if Carly never woke up? life wouldn't be the same. dying is fucking scary. I hate to think about it, but I can't stop myself.

once somebody is gone, they're gone. they aren't coming back. we need to accept that, even though it's hard. I'm glad I didn't loose anybody, but I'm trying to prepare myself for when I do loose someone. it's hard. it's fucking hard.
