Prologue

The doors of class 3- Anteiku closed as Yoshimura-Sensei walked in with a cup of coffee. When all the students were rested on their seats, Yoshimura-sensei began to speak. "We have a new student joining us today," He looked through the open door to the shy boy with an eyepatch, with a nervous smile on his face. "I-I'm," he looked up to the classroom, and froze when he realized that everyone was staring at him. "Why don't you come in, Kaneki." Yoshimura-Sensei kindly lead him to the front of the classroom. With his hands almost shivering, he introduced him self to the class. "I'm Kaneki Ken." His eyes moved away from the students and dropped back to staring at the floor. "You should go that empty spot over there," Yoshimura pointed at an empty desk next to Touka Kirishima, as Kaneki slowly made his way between the gossiping from the class.
