It had been three days I didn't receive a text or a call he didn't meet me for lunch. It had hit me he was just fucking messing with me. I woke up that Sunday to a knock "Jesus fucking Christ dad you gotta keep a key" I muttered to myself getting out of bed wearing nothing but basketball shorts. I opened the door and there stood ivan in a raggedy tshirt and jeans "can I?" Ivan looked at me with a worrying expression on his face and it took everything in me not to give into those brown eyes right there "fuck off" I go to slam the door in his face but his foot stops me I look at his foot and then back at him "fine come in wipe your fucking shoes off" I sighed and went to grab a shirt from the laundry "so..." he sat on the couch petting my cat munchkin as I stood in the kitchen getting some water "so what you didn't fucking say a word to me for three days..." i stared at my cup at my reflection in the water "tobi" Ivan stood up "I don't wanna hear my fucking name clearly you're just messing with my fucking head ok it's pretty obvious" i felt my eyes swell with tears I only stared at my shoes. I felt ivan staring at me "why'd you come here what the fuck do you want just to tell me I'm a fucking stupid idiot ?...what do you want ivan"

he stood there in front of me I wiped my tears with my hand and glanced up to him all he did was look at me with this puzzled confused look he always gives me and he just hugs me he doesn't say a word he just hugs me his arms wrapping around my waist I could feel him tear up because it soaked through my shirt "I'm sorry tobi" he whispers into my chest he pulls away and looks up at me "I couldn't call you or text you because...because I was scared" he whispers "I was scared I still fucking am I just....I didn't want you to hate me..." everything gets quiet I just stand there staring at him. He breaks the silence "you're like one of the coolest people I've ever met I didn't want to ruin that.....I guess I already did" I sighed and looked away putting my cup down "shut the fuck up" I grab his face and in a moment of adrenaline and the nasty ass Tap water I drank I kissed him. the smell of pure spring air and that weird vanilla shampoo he uses was the only thing I could smell. I pulled away and looked him in the eye "better?"

I chuckle and sit on the couch it's silent for a few seconds before ivan spoke up "I'm sorry I made you feel like I was fucking with you okay the truth is I really like you and...I was worried you didn't feel the same way" a smirk sneaks it's way onto my face and ivan looks at me with a serious expression on his face "what the fuck is so funny" I start chuckling to myself "tobi what the fuck" he stands there staring at me "you think I'm cool and you like me" I say through tears of laughter "oh my fucking god" ivan sits down his face in his palms and I can see he's smiling I knudged him "I'm sorry for being a dick earlier" "I'm sorry for being a dick for three days" ivan turns to me "ya know you are cute when you're angry though" I look him in his eyes "I'll fucking end you" he grins at me and glances down at munchkin my cat "lemme feed you tobis probably starving you poor thing" "what the fuck I'm a great dad".
