Mia's POV

~time skip to lunch~

I met up with autumn and Sam in the lunch line even though I wasn't hungry. I even told them that yet they forced me to eat something. We got our food and went and sat down at an empty table. I looked at the door while I was playing with my food. I looked at all the cute boys and different faces I saw coming through the door. As Sam was talking about how much he hated being Sonia's science partner I noticed Blake walk in and surprisingly Sonia was no where to be seen. Neither was kimmey or lilly.

I wonder where they went? Oh well. I just ignored him because as soon as all the girls saw he was alone they gathered around him. I gaged, and because of it autumn and Sam turned around and looked. Autumn rolled her eyes and same just turned back around and continued talking about science. Then Blake did something I wouldn't expect him to do.

He walked over to our table. I hushed sam and told autumn to turn around. She rolled her eyes and turned. To her shock she didn't expect it to be Blake.

Autumn's POV

I turned around to see Blake standing there. I was shocked. And you could really tell by the face I made. Totday I am not gonna be able to hide emotions.

Blake's POV

I asked autumn if I could talk to her. Alone. I took her to the auditorium because nobody was there. She asked where lilly, kimmey, and Sonia were. I told her they went somewhere else for lunch. Because they did. But then she asked what I wanted. You could tell she was annoyed.
" I just wanted to say sorry about earlier."
"Why are YOU sorry?!" She asked annoyed
"Because Sonia had no right to do that."
"Well I don't care anymore. It's over and done with." She said and started walking away. I gently but roughly grabbed her arm and pulled her back to me just a couple steps away from me. You could tell she was really shocked and annoyed now.
"What do you want?!" She asked
"Shhhhh." I said "I don't want people getting the wrong idea."
"Ugh whatever. Just tell me what you want?" She asked
"I told you I'm sorry. It's just things have been rough lately for Sonia"
"I said I don't care. Now can you please let go of my arm?" She asked
I didn't realize I was still holding her arm. So I let go and put my hand on my neck. "Sorry about that." I said
"It's whatever." She said and then turned and left.
I walked back to the cafeteria after her and got a water and sat down. But then a whole bunch of girls came and crowded me. I looked over at autumn who was still walking back. What was I thinking. I can't like her I have a girlfriend! I put my head down on the table as the girls continued talking wildly.

Autumn's POV

I went and sat down at our table thinking in my head "I can't still like him! He's taken! Plus I doubt he would like someone like me." I looked at Mia and said "did you hear about the cheerleading tryouts?" I asked her
"You know that's not really my scene" she said
"I know, but I thought we could try out together?" I said
"But I don't want to" she said back
Sam just sat there watching us.
"Please." I said " for me, your best friend?" I asked
"Ugh fineee." She said rolling her eyes.
I smiled
She fake smiled
Sam just looked at us confused.
