Normally, it would be sunny in Sumeru. A little hot, despite the fact The Dessert is way hotter. Although today, it seems like it was heavily raining.
It would be peaceful for other Researchers that raining makes it way easier to focus on studies, although, not for one student.
A loud sigh was heard from one of the scholars from the Akademiya, Tighnari.
He held onto his books tightly and walk past the other scholars, and walking inside the library to quietly study.
Once he was inside, he quietly sat down on one of the empty seats no where to see any scholars to cause any disturbance for his studying.
He gently places the books down opening each of them once finishing one of them.
"Mm.. No, I need to find another book that's related to this." He mumbled under his breath, he was about to stand up until someone held onto his shoulder.
"Supposedly, This is the one you'll be looking for?" A cold tone spoke behind him handing the book to him.
He looks at the name of the book and gently took it away from the persons hand.
He gazes up to meet the persons eyes, Cyno.
"Ah, Cyno.. Were you watching me this whole time?" Tighnari gives a gentle smile and pats the seat next to him.
Eventually, Cyno sits down next to The Researcher. "Not quite, I just came in not too long ago. I was going to put back the books I borrowed till I noticed you were studying from afar." He continued, "Since we're studying under The same Sage, I thought you would need the books i borrowed so I dropped by to help you."
"Oh, Really? Well, sorry for the trouble. I just finished doing My Comissions before the rain could even come. So I'm just about to study.." He let's out an awkward chuckle, despite knowing they were never close even if they study under the same Sage.
"Its okay. You don't need to apologize whatsoever.."
Tighnari just smiled as a response, before the atmosphere turned awkward and quiet.
It bothered Tighnari, slightly gazing at Cyno. Trying to think of an conversation, Cyno breaks the silence.
"You know - I can clearly feel your gaze on me. Besides that, focus on your study first. Before focusing on me.. got that?" Cyno looks away putting down the books next to Tighnari.
"Right.. Sorry." Tighnari's face flushed in embarrassment quickly putting his gaze back to the book and started reading once again.
Cyno peaks at the book and quickly gazes at Tighnari's eyes seeming like he was quietly having a hard time to understand it. "Are you having trouble with that..? Come here, let me help you."
"Oh, No.. I'm okay. Thank you." Tighnari mumbles, putting his gaze only at the book.
He hears Cyno sigh as he felt Cyno's hand gripped onto Tighnari's right arm and the other on the chair, moving it close to his.
"I insist.. Let me help you."
He finally gives in and let's him help with the studies.
"Also.." An hour has passed that they've been studying, trying to understand each of the page from the book.
It was evening and it was near 12 in the morning, Tighnari trying to stay up.
"Hey.. Tighnari? Are you getting tired?" Cyno gazes at Tighnari's eyes, looking at him in awe.
Cyno didn't say anything else but just smiled, he takes out one of the bookmarks he hid in the pockets of his cloak and places it down the side of the book, closing it afterwards.
"W-Wait.. I still need to study, don't close the book." Tighnari tiredly whines, Cyno didn't care less about what he says about studying when he's tired. All that mattered is that he gets rest.
"We can continue tomorrow, for now.. tell me where your dorm is.""Cyno fixes the table, all of the papers and books well organized.
"Mm.. Dorm - 27." Tighnari muttered half asleep, about to get knocked out.
"Mhm, I see. I'll bring you there then." Cyno replied with his usual tone as always.
Cyno stands up from the seat and looks at the tired state of Tighnari.
He can't bring himself to piggy back ride him or hold onto his hand to help him go back to his dorm, despite seeing The sleepy researcher in front of him. The only thing he could do now is..
Carry him in Bridal Style.
He gently carries Tighnari away from the seat and gradually uses an ability only Akademiya scholars can do, and it is to make an object follow them around without holding it, and so Cyno did that with Tighnari's books.
Some scholars were about to go inside their dorms when they see the both of them with eachother in surprise.
Whispers chatter around quietly, although Cyno didn't care any bit and continued on to Tighnari's dorm.
As he reached Tighnari's dorm he knows that each of the dorms here has roommates so he knocks on the door, in a few seconds someone opens the door.
"Oh - You must be Cyno! Tighnari has talked to you in many occasions.. I'm sorry that you had to bring Tighnari here in the middle of the night." The green haired smiled nervously, seemed like she was one of the scholars that is also studying under the same sage as Cyno and Tighnari.
"I'm glad to help, I'll help him go to bed.. I hope you don't mind."
"Nope! Help yourself in." Collei smiles and gives space for Cyno to walk inside.
Collei opens Tighnari's door for Cyno to lie him on his bed, Cyno nods as a Thank you and walks towards Tighnari's bed to put him down.
Gently he covers half of Tighnari's body with his blanket and quickly gazed on Tighnari's lips.
He immediately moved away and looks at Tighnari's desk, placing the books and papers there.
He quickly wrote a note before leaving.
Once it was morning, Tighnari woke up in his room and let out a yawn.
He stood up from his bed and walk towards his desk, seeing a note at one of the books.
He grabs onto it, looking closely.
' You seemed quite tired so I brought you back to your dorm last night.. and since we never finished the studying, I'd be more happy to continue helping you. You may come to Dorm 54 so we can discuss more of the studies.

Tighnari just had a warm smile on his face before muttering something.
"Archons, Please don't tell me I'm in love."
