Fates P.O.V
I rose in the morning to see t was a sunny day and the sky was bright blue.
Okay, nothing new there. I live in Australia.
I'm Maximum Fate (or Fate for short) and I'm 14 and live in the sunny state of Queensland.
I have an older sister April but our parents were brutally murdered last year.
We live in a boarding house run by Mrs Lloyd and her son Jake.
I get out of bed and look in the mirror. My hair is a mess. Taking a brush and running it through my hair, I notice April walking through my door. Okay, limping. Last nights effort I guess.
"Hey." I said to April groggily, not even half awake.
"I'm soooooo sore!" She moaned.
"Don't start April, Dark cloud. Don't wanna know!"
"Geez, you could be more enthusiastic sis. I've finally got a boyfriend!" April almost squealed with excitement.
Rolling my eyes, I went back to getting ready for the morning's classes. I knew fully well it was easy for April to get a boyfriend. She had our mum's long, luxurious blond hair and her big, brown eyes. Her figure was perfect and pear. Boys always fell over themselves to get a chance to talk to her. I was the ugpy sister in the background and some people don't believe that we are related. I am the complete opposite of her.
I have my fathers dark brown, almost black, hair and his bright blue eyes. My figure had fanned out to be an hourglass a year ago when I finally started to grow up. If you get me.
"April, this is your third boyfriend this year. And its only March. Now, I've gotta go get changed can you wait for me outside my room?" I asked. I wasn't going to be late for class.
