Chapter 2

AVIANNA'S POV

The light coming from the window pane hit my cheeks. I frowned when I felt a heavy arm on my stomach. Tumagilid ako at nakita si Keidon na nakadapa kung matulog habang nakapatong ang braso sa tiyan ko.

Napairap ako at inalis ang braso niya. I heard him groan. He always removes his shirt when he sleeps so technically, he's topless every morning.

Pumunta ako sa banyo para maligo at mag ayos na sa sarili. Habang nasa shower ay hindi ko mapigilan mag isip ng mga pangyayari ngayon. We're Mythians now, it feels like we're inside a dream.

Lahat ng sinabi ng counselor ng Secret Society ay gumugulo sa isipan naming lahat. Isa na doon ang pagkakaroon namin ng shadow ninja security team, I think it called Hoplites. Imagine, hindi ka matatakot maglakad tuwing gabi dahil nasa tabi mo lang ang mga bantay mo.

After I lost my abilities, I believed I've lost everything. I couldn't protect myself from the danger anymore. However, Keidon never made me feel weak. He trusts my abilities without my former status. He teached me self-defense so I can fight back.

It's not like I'm bragging about my looks, but I have genes and features I got from my mixed father. I was born beautiful, dangerously attractive. I used to hate my firm and hourglass body. Kaya sa tuwing nililigawan ako ng mga lalaki, iniisip ko lagi na mukha at katawan ko lang habol nila.

Keidon was the first guy who rejected me. The first time I felt rejection, I was shocked but depressed at the same time. Hindi ko alam kung sasaya ba ako dahil ngayon lang ako nakaramdam ng sincere rejection, at mapapatunayan ko na ibang lalaki si Keidon.

Hindi siya yung tipo ng lalaki na habol lang ay mukha at katawan. He got everything I wanted. But unfortunately, his heart belonged to Eisha. He was loyal. To the point he assumed that his feelings belonged to the only one girl.

He was in denial. He used to deny that he had feelings for me, because he was afraid that he would destroy and fail our friendship. That's the thing he couldn't understand, simula nung nagkagusto ako sa kanya ay nawala na tingin ko sa kanya bilang kaibigan ko.

He has been my best friend since we were young. Maybe that's the reason why he wouldn't like me before. Ayaw niya pumatol sa kaibigan niya.

Kaya simula nung nawala ako sa paningin niya at nagbalak na magsimula muli nang mag-isa, he lost his mind. He was worried and paranoid. That's when he figured out that he couldn't live without me. He realized that his feelings for me are real and stronger than the infatuation he has for Eisha.

He worked hard just to get me back. Hindi siya sumuko na makuha ako ulit kahit alam ko na nahihirapan na siya. But I couldn't just give up and get back to his arms that fast, I wanted him to prove his love for me.

At hindi nagtagal ay nagawa niya rin iyon. We're together now, still stronger than ever.

Napangiti ako habang inaalala ang nakaraan.

"Anak ng, nandito ka lang pala. I thought you left." Nagulat ako sa boses ni Keidon sa aking likuran. He let out a sigh in relief when he saw me in the shower.

Buti na lang tapos na ako. I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my wet body.

"Well, now you know that I'm here, what are you still doing here?" Mataray ko kunwari na saad.

Tumawa naman ito. Hinila niya ang wrist ko at niyakap ako nang mahigpit. I can feel the heat of his body. I paused, I smiled unconsciously.

"Aw, na-trauma ka ata. Hindi ibig sabihin na wala ako sa tabi mo ay lumayas na ako sa buhay mo. Okay?" Mahinhin na sabi ko. I pat his messy hair.
