He took a few deep breaths before knocking on the door. He was scared of what was about to follow. He knew he could be a trouble maker sometimes, especially when it came to him and Air being together, but he never thought he'd end up at Papa Nihil's office. This man was scary. He raised his fist and knocked on the door loud enough for the old man to hear.

"Come in"

A deep groan was heard from the other side of the door. He took one last breath, gathered all his confidence and opened the huge Gothic door . Behind it, a huge office room was revealed. The walls painted a deep red velvet color, accompanied by big glass windows that looked at the front yard of the ministry. A huge dark oak wooden desk stood in front of the windows and two red velvet armchairs stood in front of it. A bookcase that took the length of a whole wall to the right, a smaller one to the left and a few paintings of Lucifer hanging. The room wasn't that dark, nor that bright. It was just perfect to match the whole vibe of the room. The ghoul closed the door behind him as he walked in slowly before stopping and bowing to the man sitting on the desk.

"Good morning, Your Unholiness. I was told you called me. How may I help you, sir?"

He spoke in a serious tone, before raising his head and looking at the old man, who now stood on his feet, just a few meters away from him. He cleared his throat, giving him a signal with his hand to take a seat in one of the armchairs that sat next to the big desk, which was full of organized papers and many pens.

"Y/n my dear, you are one of the ghouls that many of the sisters of sin seem to have a liking on. You were requested on a meeting of the clergy members to have a special position. I personally have trust in you and think you are a very smart young ghoul and I think this job would suit you just perfect"

With each word, the ghouls tail moved more nervously and his head felt heavier. What was the old man even talking about? What job? Was he starting to loose his brain because of his age? Yes, Y/n was a ghoul very liked by the sisters of sin. He was always helping them and having fun with them doing things such as cooking, gardening, playing dress up, letting them try new make-up products on him, joining their sleepovers and movie nights. They had a pretty nice relationship. He still was confused. What job offer was that now? So out of blue.

"Since you are always volunteering to help the others with whatever they ask you to help them with, I am offering you a job as my son's assistant. He needs help with his paper work and I think Cardinal would be glad if he had a second pair of hands to help him with it"

One of the papa's assistant? Oh dear, him? No way. Well depends on whose assistant he will be. His relationship with Primo is pretty nice. They take walks in the gardens together while having deep conversations sometimes or they take care of his flowers. They even read for hours in the library together. Secondo and him don't talk much, Papa ii isn't much of a talker. They have happen to sit together in dinner sometimes and had exchanged a few words. Mostly having a comfortable silence. He had seen him shooting him a few smiles while passing by each other in the corridors. If Y/n didn't lie he'd say he wanted to talk more to him. Terzo was something different. He even refused to look at him. They haven't really talked other than having him yelling at the ghoul for interrupting one of his conversations with a sister of sin to greet her or ask him to clean his room. Terzo was not necessarily always rude to Y/n but just kind of emotionless towards him. Lucifer, even Secondo smiled at him more. He wouldn't mind being his assistant though. This man needed someone to put him in his place and have him work a little. The young ghoul also wanted to get to know him better. The third Emeritus looked like a very interesting person to the young ghoul. Since he have been summoned not long ago, Terzo had him being curious about that mysterious persona of his. He was nice to the sisters and showed a very soft and funny face to his brothers. Almost gullible as many would describe it. But to his parents and the ghoul he was lacking the emotion and always had a serious and straight face. No smiling and not much talking. Just a few nods every here and there when he was asked questions. He was a little scary to the ghoul's eyes sometimes. The ghoul shook his thoughts away when he heard Father Nihil talking again.
