The Loss of Friends

PERCY POV
I was walking towards the Dining Pavilion when I noticed someone fighting a Hydra with a stick. His face was bloodied and bruised and he was slowly losing. I ran in and uncapped Riptide, cutting the beast in half. As the boy stood up he ran into Camp and began yelling "THAT DUDE WITH THE SWORD TRIED TO KILL ME!!!"

I smirked knowing he was scared 'cause I was holding a sword but instead Chiron ran up to me and yelled "WHY DID YOU TRY TO KILL HIM!?!"

"I didn't-" I was cut off by Chiron's hand.

"Go home! You are banned from Camp for the rest of the month"

So I turned and walked off, but suddenly noticed that the new kid had a trident glowing above his head. I glared at him and took off running, grabbing a taxi to my Mum's apartment. I walked in and went to say hi but couldn't find them. I continued searching and looked in the kitchen. That's when I saw it. Mum and Paul, lying on the floor with their heads caved in. I cried out in shock and went to call Annabeth. Just then I got an Iris message. It was Jason.

JASON POV
A/N This starts at the same time as Percy's does.

I was talking to Reyna when someone came up to her and she had to leave to resolve a fight between some of the children of Mars and a drunken Dakota. I then noticed a boy about my age fighting a Harpy with a rock so I rushed in, my sword at the ready, and cut it in half. Once I had the boy ran off towards Camp Jupiter yelling "HE TRIED TO KILL ME!!!"

I smirked knowing it was just shock but soon Reyna walked up to me and said "You shouldn't have tried to kill him! You are banned from Camp for a month!"

I shrugged my shoulders and went to fly to Camp Half-Blood when I noticed that the new kid had an eagle glowing above his head. I clenched my fists and flew to Camp HB. Once I landed I noticed six people had magically teleported to the middle of Camp, dead, with their heads caved in. I ran towards the bodies and knew who they were. Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Annabeth and Nico, all dead. I took a stepped back and was shocked with the scene at hand. I knew right away that I had to tell Percy, mainly to see if he's dead and to tell him the news.

PERCY POV
"Jason! My Mum and Paul are dead! Their heads are caved in!" I said, trying not to cry.

"I know" He replied.

I took a step back win a puzzled look on my face. "That's how they got Piper, Annabeth, Leo, Frank, Hazel and Nico" Jason explained, his lip quivering.

"No!" I replied, beginning to cry.

A few minutes later Jason began to cry as well. Suddenly we were teleported to Olympus. "Percy Jackson! You are hereby disowned and I sentence you to be hunted down by Artemis until you die!" Yelled Poseidon, pointing at me.

"I too disown Jason Grace and sentence him to be hunted down by Artemis until you die!" Zeus....well Jupiter yelled.

"Why?" We both said in unison.

"Because you two have been charged with murder for killing Piper McLean, Annabeth Chase, Nico Di Angelo, Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque, Leo Valdez, Paul Blofis, Sally Jackson and their unborn child!" Poseidon screamed.

The last one hit me like a bullet. Mum was pregnant and she hadn't told me! "You have ten seconds to run" Zeus said, beginning to count.

"Ten. Nine. Eight."

I looked at Jason and he nodded.

"Seven. Six. Five"

We jumped up and ran for our lives. Literally. We jumped into the elevator and as the doors shut we heard.

"Four. Three. Two. One"
