" The dark haired boy was sitting low in his chair, both arms resting on the desk. He wasn't recognizable despite the familiar glint of mischief in his eye and the slight upturn of his mouth. But despite the inability to recognize him, I bet my whole bank account that If I had a closer look, I would find the indent of a scar right above his eyebrow.
I take a shaky breath in as, slowly but surely, more recognizable features jump out at me. I dig my nails into the palm of my hand as I begin to lower my gaze, and sure enough, wrapped tightly around his wrist was a bracelet that was identical to the one that was shoved deep into a drawer in my room.

I know it's been a while and I have multiple chapters that I'm editing and are soon to be published.
I had the flu- really bad -which really put me out of action for a while, but new chapters of Bloody Affairs will be posted soon!! I promise
