8 Of A Kind!

Chapter IV: The Field Day

"Yo! Tree! Over here!" Drew called over Dimitri to talk to him about something. But something was bothering him and he suddenly felt sad.

"Bro, I got a problem on my hands. Can you... hear me out, please?" Dimitri says, looking down at his shoes.

"Yeah man of course. What's bothering you?" Drew said quietly while looking at Dimitris face.

"Well... I might have a crush on-" Dimitri got cut off from someone from the ninth grade, saying that he was lost and he couldn't find his phone. As the kindhearted person he is, he helped the kid find it and went back to find Drew.

*Typical. Why does this seem so cliche, like in the those mangas I read? I wanted to tell him I was in love with Kyle, but i don't know if this is the right timing to tell him...* Dimitri says to himself.

*This might be surprising news to him. Maybe he'll hate me because I like guys... I don't know how to tell him if I were to be honest... UGH THIS IS KILLING ME. I NEED TO CALM DOWN!* Dimitri panics.

Dimitri gets super irritated and anxious when he's thinking too much or all alone, so since he lives near the counties' woods, he calms down there and takes his camera with him to take the pictures of the breathtaking views and wildlife he finds on the way.
Luckily there was a path to the woods, so he went through without any hesitation.

Later:

Everyone was happy. People gone on rides, got food, and even gone to the pool when they wanted something else to do in thier time. But Drew was super uneasy

"Hmmm, I wonder where Tree is... Probably still looking for that kids' phone. Hope he finds it and comes back so he can tell me what's up." Drew said aloud while walking through the crowd of people.

"In the meantime, I should look for the gir- Nevermind." Drew saw the girls at the market, selling food and merchandise.

"Heya Drew, whatcha doing here? Came to buy somethin'? Aurora asked.

"Not really, but thanks though. I see you and the others are doing a lot right now. Mind if see whats in the inventory?" Drew asked in curiosity, with his eyes wide open.

"Umm yea, go ahead mate. Please be very careful though, we bought all of it and it cost a pretty penny if you askin' me " Aurora said politely, further explaining the stand to Drew.

"Yep, got it! Thanks Aurora!" Drew said enthusiastically.

While checking out the stand, someone screamed further from them in the field.

"LIZZY, XIA! WATCH OUT!!"

A football was heading straight towards her. Thankfully, someone who was receiving caught the ball but unfortunately the stand wasn't okay. The guy fell on his back, into the wooden beam and started to bleed. The stand apparently wasn't exactly stable, so it collapsed under Lizzy and Xia. While Nia and Aurora stood there in shock. Drew got caught in the midst of everything and he was also under there as well, looking very beat up.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN?! DID YA DO THIS?! I TOLD YA TO BE CAREFUL!!" Aurora yells at Drew furiously.

"Aurora... Calm down. It wasn't his fault so don't get all mad about it." Nia says, affirmating Aurora.

"Oi vey, I can't take this. I wanna go home." Aurora says, starting to break down in tears.

"I might be tough, but I can't stand when other people cry." Nia said quietly to herself.

"Shut up, Nia! This isn't the time nor place to be jokin' around." Aurora said, slapping the back of Nia's head.

As the girls were slowly getting into a fight, The other two guys, Kyle and Quinn, came to see what was happening. They both explained how it even came to be. They were in shock, just like the two girls were. The three plus the guy who was on the ground bleeding were taken to the hospital for a check up and analysis. The other five (Dimitri came back from his walk) were surprised, sad, and angry to hear/see this unfold in a matter of five minutes. The field day was a complete disaster and a lot more things went wrong after that. For now, after this freak show was over, they seen their friends through the hospital door, waiting for an answer from the doctors. With their parents as well, they sat there, waiting for a response.
