CHAPTER EIGHTEEN : The Return

Setsuna's POV

Three years had passed and I had reestablish the fox demon exams.

I have been training for a while but I haven't used Shiro for a while, because I can't help thinking about that Inu.

I don't want to be transported to where that Inu maybe because that would be ridiculous. And I'm dead for the hundredth time.

I reviewed my father's notes about the fox demon exams when the two love birds barged in again.

"My lady Setsuna" Kaoru said
"We brought you somethings" Shizu said
"Don't tell me you brought gifts from the son of the demon lord of the land of something" I said
"Yes and he wants to meet you" Kaoru said
"And you need to find your mate my dear cousin for it is the time of the year" Shizu said
"Can I have a few months extension I'm busy with the fox demon exams" I said
"Well you still have a few months so that will be alright" Kaoru said

~* A few days*~

Rearranging all of my plans for the fox demon exams Kaoru and Shizu kept bugging me about the son of the demon lord of the land of something.

"Can you two be useful and help me gather all of the candidates of this exams" I said
"Yes, yes sure but in return please meet the son of the demon lord" Kaoru said
"*sighs* okay okay but not today maybe a week after the exams" I said

Both of them are very happy about my decision and I am obviously obliged to do my duties and responsibilities.

~* A week after the exams*~

I return back to my study and my head is aching because they said son of the demon lord. They didn't said sons of the demon lords of the land of something.

I sat and looked at Inu-no-taisho's haori that's hanging on the wall as well as my mother's mask and Shiro.

"My lady" Haruka said
"Yes? Haruka-san "
"Kaoru-san said that the demons you met are not the son of the demon lord of the land of something as so they speak." Haruka-san said
"Wait so you mean they're not the ones they're talking about" I said
"Yes, that's what they said" Haruka-san said

I grabbed Inu-no-taisho's haori, my mother's mask as well as Shiro.

I was patrolling the Northern Lands when I saw Inuyasha and Miroku-san.

"Long time no see Inuyasha" I said
"It's been awhile Lady Setsuna " he said

I noticed the barrels he's carrying and asked what are those.

"These are barrels of rice for Miroku's family"
"Woooow okay, ohhh Miroku-san if you need anything just tell Shippo about it okay" I said
"Yes thank you about that Lady Setsuna" Miroku-san said

We went to Miroku-san's house and saw they have have a new born son and two girls.

I talked with Sango-san for a while and how I wished that I have someone right now beside me.
The girls are playing with my hair and tails and they are fun to play with.

I leave them for a while and I have found Inuyasha, Lady Kaede and Shippo.

Then I heard Shippo saying that he visited the bone eaters well for every three days.

Wooow that was devotional for an Inu like him.

Inuyasha kicked Shippo

I tried to be calm because I haven't kick someone for the past three years.

But I can't help it.

I stomped my feet on his head and crushing him like a bug.

"You know you don't have to do that you stupid Inu she'll come back " I said
"Who will come back?" he asked
"You know you're brain is so slow you know who I am talking about"
"How do you know?" he asked mockingly
"Because I'm smart and you're stupid" I said and left him and followed Lady Kaede.

And then I saw Rin living in Lady Kaede's house.

"I thought you're living with Sesshomaru why are you... "
"I talked with Lord Sesshomaru" Lady Kaede said
"Ohhhh okay it's nice seeing you again Rin-chan I'll be back for a few weeks."
"That's alright Tsuna-san" Rin said
I patted her head and returned to the Northern Lands.

*~ A few weeks *~

Words have spread that Kagome-san returned and they got married with the stupid Inu.

Kaoru and Shizu doesn't stop bringing gifts from the son of a demon lord of the lands of something.

They always brought new kimonos the good thing is I like all of it, the bad thing is it becomes creepy I think.

So I asked to return all of those gifts.

"Lady Setsuna " Kaoru and Shizu barged in for I don't know a thousand times.
"*sighs* what?"
"A gift from the son of the Lord of the land of something"

He placed a small box on the table and I looked it.

"Isn't it a little bit small? " I said
"No, that is it" Shizu said
"*sighs* you both are getting on my nerves I told you I am not... "

I was taken a back by the contents of this box.

It's a hair pin with crescent moon style on it.

This might be a coincidence, yes just a coincidence.

I fixed my long hair and pin the hair pin on. I looked at my reflection and never knew I would love it.

"Kaoru, Shi..."

As I was speaking the two leaves immediately.

Weird very weird.

They always tells me if I like it but now they're gone.

After my duties as a Lady of the Northern Lands I came back to the human village where I gave Sango-san some of my old kimonos that are still beautiful.

As well as the twins of course.

I found Inuyasha and Kagome-san returning from the village.

And then Kagome-san shouted "Big brother "

I was frozen when I heard Jaken-san's voice saying

"Oh look Lord Sesshomaru that Kagome has returned."

I can't stop laughing because of that face he did.

"Is that Lady Setsuna " Jaken-san said

I was startled and then I looked at him and he's looking at me.

I asked Kagome-san to give the kimono to Rin-chan for I need to do something.

I hastily run off to the Northern Lands in the palace and in my room.

"*sighs* that was close"
"What was close?"

I slowly looked whose behind me but I can't see his face. As moonlight shine on and shadows cast to this stranger.
He appeares to be in front of me

"Who are..." I was stopped by a pair lips and from there I knew who he is.
