Claire's pov

Early in the morning I got woken up by my alarm going off so I groaned as I turned my alarm off on my phone, I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed as I walked over to my dresser and grabbed some clothes and got dressed and grabbed my phone and walked downstairs as my dad and mom smiled at me

" ah, theirs my beautiful daughter..do you want a ride to school? " my dad asked me as I shrugged my shoulders

" sure " I said as kept me from walking to school

My dad grabbed his keys and we walked outside as we got in the car and he drove me to school, after he stopped the car in front of Whitechapel high I got out and walked inside the building

After I walked inside the building I walked over to my locker and grabbed my books and walked to Mr. G's class, as I walked into Mr. G's classroom I walked over to my desk and some girl walked by me and bumped into me as my books and papers fell out of my binder so I scoffed and bent down to pick them up as some blonde dude helped me

" don't worry, it happens to me to " he said as I rolled my eyes and I stood up and sat in my seat as class started

During class Mr. G had two nerdy geeks who were actually pretty cuter than any of the other guys in this school go up to the front of the class and do a presentation about the history of Whitechapel

After class was over I walked to lunch and grabbed a tray and some food but when I tried to walk away I bumped into one of the nerdy boys in my class and I got gunk all over my shirt

" I'm so sorry " the boy said as I glared at him

" thank you so much, dork " I said as he scoffed

" sorry " he said as I walked away annoyed and sat by myself as a guy from the drama club came over to me and sat down next to me

" hey your in Mr. G's class right? My buddy is having a party tonight and we wanted to invite you " the guy said as I furrowed my brows

" I'm not allowed to hang out with boys alone " I said as he scoffed with a smile

" um it's a party, your not gonna be alone with anyone " the guy said as I smiled

" um okay " I said as he smiled

" great, pick you up at 8 " the guy said as he walked away

I watched as one of the boys from my first period class walked over to two girls and tried flirting with them but got rejected so I scoffed with a smile as him and the blonde guy walked over to my table and sat down

" can I help you? " I asked them

" I'm Benny and this is Rory " Benny said as he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes

" cool, let me guess you tried flirting with those girls and they rejected you so your trying to flirt with me now? " I said questioning them as they gave me confused looks

" um no, first off your by yourself and you seem legit and cool so we want to invite you to sit with us " Benny said as I nodded and walked over to their table

" by the way, what's your name?? " Rory asked me as we sat down

" my names Claire " I said as they smiled and their friend gave me a look

" oh sorry, Ethan this is Claire...Claire this is my buddy Ethan " Benny said as I smiled at him and he gave Benny a look

" why'd you invite her over here?? " Ethan asked Benny as my smile sank to a frown

" because she's always sitting by herself and no one talks to her " Benny said as I made a clamped up smile

" she called me a dork " Ethan said as Benny scoffed at him
