The adventure in the sky

Beginning of adventure

It's another usual evening in the mushroom kingdom, with shooting stars across the sky and toads playing with Cappy, the new resident in front of Peach's castle. Mario and Peach were taking a walk like usual outside, talking to each other.

Peach: Mario, I am so sorry for making you unhappy about the event on the Moon. I just hate how Bowser wants to marry me forcefully.

Mario: It's okay, Princess. I forgive you.

Suddenly, Mario saw a broken yellow star, "It looks like a launch star."

"Then why is Rosalina's launch star broken? I think something bad may have happened."

"Let's search around the castle for the other pieces." Peach was worried, "Who knows what will happen in the distant universe?"

They soon found several star pieces and fixed the grand launch star, and then they saw a note coming from the launch star.

"Dear Peach,

Please come to the observatory through this launch star. Today is the day for the 20th anniversary of the founding of the observatory, and I would like to invite Mario here as well.

Yours, Rosalina."

"But why is this launch star broken..." Peach was thinking of what happened when a frightened Luma came down and looked at the both.

"Luma? Where's your mama?" Peach held out her arms and took the Luma in.

"Our home is gone." Luma said sadly, "We went out to take a walk when our planet was attacked by a mysterious force, and my Luma was possessed. So Princess and Mario, can you help me restore my home and my mama to normal?"

"The toads said the Odyssey now is still not powerful enough to ride to the sky. I am going to tell you once they power up the airship." Captain toad said, "And Mario, please go to the sky with Peach first, and I and Luigi will meet you later after we fix the airship."

Mario held Peach's hand, and they ran into the launch star as they saw what happened:

They saw the angry sun destroying the comet observatory, taking Rosalina away.

"Rosalina, you are no longer the ruler of the universe. I order you to be my queen and rule with me, and your lumas no longer work for you." The Sun said, was about to destroy the observatory when he suddenly saw the hero and the princess watching him. He burst out of the screen and shouted, "You two ruined my plan, even for 34 years (1), and I am going to destroy both of you."

The princess saw the Sun coming, "Mario, watch out!"

However, it was too late and Mario came crashing down, losing his grip.

"Oh no, Mario!"

Peach grabbed an ice flower from her pocket, not sure wether it is working or not, "This is the only way, please grant me the power to use power-ups."

She saw her dress transforming into a blue and white one, and her hair tied up into a ponytail.

"Here you go!", she threw an iceball at the Sun and froze him, and managed to escape from a gap in the tunnel.

Mario was still falling and screaming when he felt someone holding his hand.

"Peach?"

"It's quite an 'exciting' beginning, but anyway let's go and save Rosalina!"

"Let's go and find the Odyssey first!" Mario said as they landed.

As soon as he finished his sentence, they felt the ground shaking and Peach screamed, "Oh nooo, an earthquake!"

Luigi laughed, "We are here, Peach! It's just because toad failed his driver's license test and landed a little roughly."

Toad got out and argued, "Luigi, stop humiliating me! If you drive better than me, why did you sleep the whole journey there? Also, you snore quite loudly."

They also saw two familiar faces coming.

"I am Cappy, and it's glad to see you again, Mario."

"Peach, welcome back to another adventure, and I would like to be your crown this time. Also, good luck with your adventure."

"I hope you will have a great adventure, Mario, and welcome back!"

Another story based on Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Galaxy, but I would like a playable Peach if Nintendo releases Odyssey 2, and this is my own version of Odyssey 2, I supposed
