Lucy's POV

"Guess who's back?" The male voice behind me said. I couldn't believe my ears.

That voice... Tell me it belongs to...

My whole body became stiff and unknowingly, my eyes were stinging like the pain in my heart as tears started to fill the brim of my eyes.

A dam of emotions rushed through every fibre of my body and emotionally, I turned behind and hugged the guy. I miss his touch...

"I missed you so much..." I muttered softly between my sobbing but I knew he had caught it. He tightened his grip on me and softly chuckled.

"I miss you too, did you really think I did not?"

Now, it's my turn to chuckle and gently I got out of his arms, I punched his chest softly.

"Yeah, I really thought you already had a girlfriend, forgetting about your promise to me." I said with an ounce of hurt and sadness, hoping he did not realise.

All of a sudden, he flicked my forehead. I winced in pain a little and he laughed.

"Don't be silly, even if I have a girlfriend, it would be none other than you." He said before his cheeks started to become pink. I could feel my cheeks burning up too...

"Ahem..." Someone from behind coughed, on purpose I think.

I looked behind Sting and realised it was the other of the Twin Dragon Slayers, Rogue. He must be feeling awkward to see us being so ... close.

"Ah... I'm sorry Rogue that I didn't realise you were behind." I apologetically told Rogue but he did not grew mad, he merely smiled and walked towards me.

"I'm not mad, I just felt left out that you two are chatting with each other. Anyways, I'm Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth and I would be glad to be your acquaintance but we could be close friends once you are Sting's girlfriend, Lucy-san." Rogue said and bowed.

I knew he is polite and he's a total gentleman, Yukino is lucky to have him, not trying to say Sting is not but Rogue is just a perfect gentleman in my opinion.

"There's no need for formalities and honorifics! Just call me Lucy!" I stated, trying to brush off the topic of being Sting's girlfriend because it's awkward and I knew I was blushing hard as Rogue was telling me that my face is red.

"Eh Lucy, can we stay at your apartment for only one night? Me and Rogue are lazy to search for a motel so we thought that we could try to seek help from you."

"Sure, Sting. I wouldn't mind even if you guys are staying for a month. I just hope you two wouldn't cause any troubles and break anything in my house so yeah..." I told them awkwardly and they nudged me to bring them to my apartment now as it's late.
