-It's probably a bad joke from a fan who didn't like the Spirits victory. Jinpei announced approaching the group.
Turning, Sato was surprised to see that her colleague was not disguised.
-Matsuda-kun, weren't you asked to dress up too? The culprit knows your face after all. The policewoman reprimanded him.
-If it is indeed the same. The man replied with a slight smile.

Sato just stared at her colleague. He looked so sure of himself. But that was no reason not to listen to orders.
It was Takagi's arrival that broke the silence within the group. Although he wore a wig, he was quickly recognized by the children, except Yoko who had seen him much less than them. She had seen her very little, just two or three times.
-Takagi-keiji! Ayumi exclaimed. You look like Kogoro-oji-san like that! she laughed.
   - Am I that recognizable? He asked, leaning forward a bit.
Everyone nodded, except for the kid with the glasses, who just couldn't. She didn't know more than that what this famous Kogoro looked like. She seemed to have seen him before, but her memories were hazy.

   Takagi just laughed nervously.
-In any case, I didn't expect to meet you here... He said.
Sato sighed looking at him. She approached it a little, with a somewhat stern expression.
-Takagi-kun! If the culprit sees you, it could be dangerous, because he will know that the police are nearby. I remind you that Mouri-san is a famous detective. Furthermore Megure-keibu had to tell you that right? You don't have to dress up. Go take that wig off right now. Ordered the policewoman.
-Eh ? I'm going right away!
The woman put her wig back on and left. The policeman lowered his head in despair and sadness.

The voice of football fans was heard when they called a member of the football team. The children turned around.
   - Looks like Hide's car has arrived! Ayumi remarked.
-Let's make our way forward and film it! Genta ordered.
-But... I let the tape run for the past hour and the tape is almost finished... Mitsuhiko sighed.
   - You didn't take any cassettes in reserve? Ai asked.
   -It's true !
-In this case, change it and we'll go without delay! Conan sighed.
That's what the freckled boy did. Then, they headed towards the crowd to sneak in without noticing that someone from their group was missing.

Yoko sighed, putting her hands in her pockets. Takagi, when to him, moved away towards his car.
   - You're not going with them? Jinpei asked.
She shook her head in response. She was going to add something else but she was cut off by Agasa.
-I am not very reassured. You received a fax telling you that something was going to happen at the parade, didn't you? He asked looking at the policeman.

Before he could answer, a huge noise sounded from the other side of the road, where Takagi's car was. An explosion. The car had exploded.
Everyone turned and the crowd panicked. Fortunately, the owner of the vehicle was fine, despite a few scratches. He had to just get up, having fallen from the blast of the explosion. Sato walked towards him at the same time.
-Takagi-kun, are you okay? She asked.
-It... It can be fine... I did well to move away apparently. He said with a nervous laugh.

Jinpei started to walk towards his colleague too, wanting to know if he knew what happened, but he felt someone grab his clothes. He turned around and looked at Yoko, the latter being glued to his leg, trembling, looking scared. He quickly understood the reason.
-How are you ? The man asked, putting his hand on the girl's head.
The girl with the glasses jumped and blinked several times, as if coming to herself. She looked around and began to calm down. Her tremor were lighter, until they completely disappeared. She then looked at the policeman and released him when she saw that she was holding him.
   -It's ok... S... Sorry...
She pulled away a little to let him go, while rubbing her hands on her arms. He stared at her for a few seconds without saying anything.

The policeman approached Takagi at the same time as Conan's arrival. The Detective Boys and Ai had stopped by Yoko to find out how she was doing.
-What happened ? Finally able to ask Jinpei to his colleague.
-I discovered a paper bag under my car. I wondered if it was a bomb and as I was walking towards you to tell you about it, I heard a big "boom" behind my back...
-But you had a flair: making the connection between a paper bag and a bomb... Pointed out Agasa.
-As we said, the fax we received referred to the trail of a case previously handled. For a detective who was told it was a serial explosion case, the contraine would have been amazing. Sato replied, not without glancing at his two colleagues.

-... In any case, we should keep the children away from here. It could be dangerous. Jinpei intervened.
The man turned his head towards the group standing nearby before turning to Conan who looked at him innocently.
-Speaking of them, how is Yoko-chan? Asked the policewoman, remembering her reaction during the case of the hostage-taking of the bus.
-Don't worry about her, she's not weak. He replied simply.
Although she was showing signs that she was in a rather bad state, including bringing her hands to her arms, she was able to react to her surroundings and to speak with her comrades.
