"Put a sock in it. You know your last relationship ended in tears." diluc mutters before firing another shot at the training dummy; he doesn't exactly hate his brother but he's just... not fond of kaeya. "Diluc, I know you're my adoptive brother and all that jazz but that still means you still have to respect me." Kaeya playfully sneers. diluc fires one more shot before placing the gun down. "Oh fine, but don't pull off anything stupid." he walks away, somewhat smiling.

Timeskip, later in the day

he parted ways with his brother, saying goodbye. before pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. it's been awhile since he's smoked. the day turned to night fast (a reference to time in game btw) and he left for home, welll... maybe one more post to his instagram story when he gets back. we'll never know. but.. he also had brunch with his mother tomorrow. that flew past his head. and she said some other people were attending...

timeskip, next day

"Dad, why the hell do you keep calling about this shit! This is what I love to do! And thanks to social- fuck no! I am not selling this ten million dollar home just to move in with the both of you! I started from square fuckin' one! Don't even try it!" y/n hangs up her phone angrily, sitting back down... her periwinkle colored eyes glaring at everyone in anger. lisa broke the silence saying: "Darling? Do you need a break? I know with your parents stressing you out, that could cause some long term issues..." she placed a hand lovingly on y/n's shoulder. "Lisa, I'm fine... I just needed to release all that steam." she responded. everything resumed until the bill was paid and everyone was saying their goodbyes 40 minutes later. when marie approached y/n. "Miss... L/N correct?" she asked. "Yes ma'am! U-uh... your son is... really nice.." she mumbled. "Thank you! By the way, I think you and Kaeya should have a collaboration sometime; is that okay with you?" marie sweetly smiles, she's also very respectful of her time. "I'll think about it. Thank you for inviting to brunch!" y/n waves when she hears the sound of an engine. but the best was yet to come. somewhat.

timeskip, a week later, alberich residence

kaeya sent her a message saying: "Bring a bikini 😉😉" she didn't know what to do nor say... being a bikini?! a bikini out of all things?! she responded with: "why tf you want me to bring a bikini? 🤨 are you horny?" she raised an eyebrow, but she brought it anyway. he was actually wanting to chill and talk with her, via a pool party.. but was it a pool party? she wouldn't know until she got there. was he horny or was he playing around. she didn't know so she bought it anyway.
