Nala sighed before walking back to her room, she felt slightly nervous about tomorrow, would she have to reveal her backstory to all those gods, will she have to reveal her face to all those gods? If they found out what she did she'd be thrown away to rot in a cell. Nala's stomach churned as she walked inside her room throwing herself onto the bed before falling asleep.

Nala woke up to Isis shaking the shit out of her as she instantly sat up.

"Get ready, your trial is today," Isis said before standing up and leaving.

Nala sat on the side of the bed staring into space for a good 5 minutes before finally standing up and grabbing her clothes.

Nala walked outside stretching as she cracked her knuckles, she noticed the street was quiet, probably because everyone wanted to see her trial, she began walking in the direction Isis gave her before leaving, she didn't want to be late for her trial, as Nala arrived she noticed people talking and gods sitting high above talking as well, but then everyone got quiet as all their eyes turned to Nala, Nala could feel a lump in her throat as she continued walking, she glanced up at Seth and could notice his threatening aura from where she stood, she was pulled out of her thoughts when a loud voice spoke.

"We are here for the Trial of Nala the human, please step onto the stand!" The voice spoke.

Nala looked at the woman and she looked very pretty, she had long black hair with a feather-like object sticking out of her hair, Nala wasted no time and stepped onto the stand trying to hide her nervousness, the woman took the feather off her hair and placed it scale before she spoke.

"Do you swear that there is nothing but the truth in all that you are about to say?" Maat aka the woman said.

"Yes, I swear on my heart," Nala replied.

A creaking sound was heard before Nala's heart was placed on the scale, Nala took a deep breath before Maat spoke again.

"How did you end up here Nala," Maat asked the woman.

"I was running away when I was found in an alleyway by Seth," Nala replied.

The scale did not tilt as some whispers were spread throughout the room.

"Why were you running away?" A voice asked.

Nala turned towards the direction of the voice to notice the sun god Ra sitting there with one leg crossed over the other.

"I was an exotic dancer, I did something bad so I ran away," Nala replied not taking her stare off the woman.

"I'm sorry, do you mind removing your veil, it's hard to hear you with it." Another voice asked.

Nala's heart dropped as she slightly began to panic, with shaking hands she reached up and snatched the veil off revealing her face and red flowing hair, a few gasps were heard as Nala tossed the veil to the ground.

"Happy?" Nala asked as she clenched her fist by her sides.

There was silence before Maat finally spoke again breaking that silence.

"What bad thing did you do to cause you to run away from your hometown?" Maat asked Nala.

"I killed a man, I didn't research his background and the guards eventually found out that I killed him, I tried to hide it as a suicide," Nala replied as whispers began to fill the room.

"Why did you kill the man?" Maat asked Nala.

"I kill men who have bad histories, sexual assault, rape, anything to men, woman, and children, that's the reason I became an exotic dancer, men come drunk out of their minds asking for a dance venting about how much they regret doing what the did, while their busy doing that I grab my knife and slit their throats open aiming for their vocal cords so they can't scream," Nala said as she point towards her neck saying the last part.

Nala's aura grew much more and began getting darker, Nala had a sinister smile on her face as the whispers died down.

"Oh my, A human like you killing so many other humans, you deserve to be a god." The sun god said.

"I have powers like a god, want me to show them to you?" Nala asked turning her attention over to the sun god.

"Oh please, like a human could have god powers." Seth said with a 'pfft' sound.

"That's what you think," Nala replied as she turned her attention back to maat.

"How do you have god powers Nala," Maat asked her.

"My mother was a god and my father was a human, after my mother gave birth to me she passed down her powers before giving birth to my little brother and then eventually dying of an illness leaving me and my brother behind with my father, my father became depressed and drank his life away before also passing away leaving me to raise my little brother, that's when I became a dancer but not an exotic one," Nala replied.

"Where is your brother now?" Maat asked Nala as she clenched her fist much tighter.

Nala turned her body towards Seth before pointing at him.

"Why don't you ask the man who killed him in cold blood along with the other little boys he killed, that man took everything from me and I'll do everything in my power to take everything from him even if it means I die while trying," Nala said as gasps filled the room once again before being followed by whispers.

"You're lying!" Seth shouted.

"The scale did not move," Maat said as a grin grew on Nala's face.

"Why don't you come down here and we'll see who's lying, Seth, or maybe I'll help tell everyone the reason why you killed all the little boys, better yet, what happened with you and Osiris," Nala said.

She could see Seth flinch at that before he began trembling with anger, Nala could feel the ground beneath her shaking before a hand made of sand lifted from the ground and wrapped tightly around Nala, screams could be heard as the hand squeezed Nala tighter before she eventually passed out.
