The Other Girl

Well, shit

Victoria POV:

My weekend was very boring, except for the occasional walk in the park. Before I knew it, Monday came and knocked on my door.

Hearing the alarm clock somehow made me happy. I woke up excitedly and went to the bathroom to do my thing. After I was done, I put on my normal outfits which is sweatpants and some oversized band tee I found. I tied my hair into a messy bun and didn't even bothered putting on make up.

I get to see him today.

I am currently eating my breakfast when suddenly, I hear a loud honk outside. James is here. I grab my bag and said, "Bye mom! Love you." I heard a faint reply then went out the door. Walking towards James's car, which is a red convertible.

"Seriously James, the neighbours been complaining about you since forever and yet you've never even stop honking so loud in the morning." I said glaring at him.

"Hey! If I didn't honk, you won't even know I'm here." he shrugged and drive. "What's the use of your phone, if you don't bother to text me?" I said.

"I don't like texting you in such early mornings, it's better to honk at you." he smirked. "You're going to get me in trouble one of these days." I said exasperated.

"You sound like an old woman." he laughed out loud. I punched his arm and glared ahead. Way to start my morning. He smiled sheepishly and lightly rubbed his arm.

I was staring out the window, counting the cars that passed by while listening to the radio. I closed my eyes and I didn't realise that I had fallen asleep when James shook my shoulder.

"Tory, wake up! We're here." he said softly. I rub my eye, hum softly and continued to sleep, wiggling a bit to get comfortable. "Come on, you can't stay in here. Class starts in 10 minutes." he said amused. I groaned and probably sounded like a mixture of a dying whale and a hungry walrus.

James just chuckled because I'm pretty sure he's used to the weird sounds I make. "Look, it's Zach." he said.

I immediately sat up and looked around for him. Realising James was lying, I glared at him. "You lied to me." I said annoyed. He shrugged and said, "If it's the only way to get you up, then I'm using it." messed up my hair and got out.

"Great! Thanks for messing up my hair." I said as I got out and closed the car door. He simply ignored me and whistled, walking into school leaving me all alone.

I was fixing my hair when suddenly, I hit this strangely soft yet hard thing. I groaned out and said, "Sorry, didn't see y-" I didn't finish what I was saying when I saw him.

"It's alright." he said grinning. I was staring at him like a love sick hormonal teenager. Knock out of it, Victoria!

"Uh.." I was speechless when the bell rang. Saved by the bell! He looked away and said, "Well, see you around." he smiled one last time and walked away, leaving a very happy Victoria behind. See you around. I stood up and squealed happily.

After squealing for a few more seconds, I snapped out of my happy land and groaned. Great. I'm officially late to class.

I sprinted to class.

"Sorry I'm late and if you're asking, I don't have a slip" I said out of breath.

"Victoria Elizabeth. Nice of you to join us. Thank you for saving my breath. Please take this detention slip and go to your seat." Mr.Marlow said annoyed. I took the slip and went to my seat. (hey that rhymed!)

Pshh, Marlow, more like marshmarlow.

I snickered at the thought and covered it by coughing. History went by smoothly. Before I knew it, it was already lunch.

I waited by my locker for James and Lucy, my other bestfriend. I was playing with my phone, when suddenly someone tackled me from behind which ended up me being face down on the floor. I groaned. My face is officially messed up.

"I missed you Rory!" she hugged me, still laying on the floor. She is a hardcore cuddler, and hearing that awful nickname she gave me is adding the pain to my face and head.

"Get off, luce. My face hurts and stop calling me Rory." I said as she scrambled off of me. I fixed my shirt and stood up. James just watched us with amusement. Then, he opened his arms and said, "Did you forget about me babe?" Lucy's face instantly lit up when she saw him. "Of course I miss you too!" she said as she gave him a kiss.

Yeah, Lucy and James is a couple. Makes me feel like a thirdwheel sometimes.

I glared at her and she smiled sheepishly and said, "Oh come on! I missed you okay! I didn't see you for like two days!" I rolled my eyes at her. "Exactly, how can you miss someone for not being together for only two freaking days?" I said raising one of my eyebrows. "Anyways, lets go." I said not waiting for her reply. She grunted and followed me and James.

On our way to the cafeteria, Lucy was talking so much that i tuned her out. I was staring at my shoe all the time when suddenly, I hit yet another hard and squishy thing. Great Victoria! Just great.

I groaned rubbing my forehead when I looked up, I saw that I hit one of the most popular guy in school. Sweet lord, help me.

Jaxon Alexander Matthew was glaring at me. The school bad boy is glaring at me. Well, shit. I thought.

"Yeah, shit." a deep voice said.

I gawk at him.

He leaned down towards me because I am really short. I closed my eyes and waited for the impact. When I felt nothing, I opened my eyes.

"Well, hello there pretty girl." he smirked, and I did the most unexpected thing.

I, Victoria Paige Elizabeth, fainted.
