Jaxon's POV :

"Well, hello there pretty girl."

Smirking as I took in her big blue eyes that stared back into my dark grey eyes. She gasped and suddenly, all the colour from her face drained. Scrunching my eyebrows in confusion, her breathe came in short takes.

Her eyes went wide for a second then she fell. Literally fell on me, quickly wrapping my arms around her. I gently pushed her back to take in her face a lot more. Slightly puffy cheeks paired with plump red lips that were enhanced by her perfectly shaped cupid's bow. Thick long lashes covered her cheeks and a cute button nose.

I was torn out of my observation when a small red head came and shook her a bit. "Rory, wake up!" she said worriedly. The guy next to her came and started to take her off of me and said, "We'll take her to the 's office."

Looking at him, I quickly pulled her back to me. They gave me a 'what-the-hell' look and i shrug. "I can take her there."

They both seem uncertain and was about to reject my offer but then the red head held her hand out and stopped him. As if examining me from head to toe, red head looked at me and said, "Take care of her and if you don't, consider your balls gone." as she made a cutting motion around her imaginary balls. Her boyfriend (I think?) sighed and apologise for her use of words and pulled her away. It was amusing to watch actually.

Looking at the girl in my arms, I bent down a bit so that I could adjust her legs to be carried bridal style. Starting my walk to the infirmary, I whistled quietly. Well, at least I get to ditch class.

Victoria's POV :

I woke up to the sound of furious beeping. I peek one of my eyes open. What the- What is he doing here?! I sat up straight and looked at him wide eyed. He stop playing with his phone and look at me.

"Wha- what are you doing here?!" I whisper-yelled.

He shrugged and said, "You fainted and I brought you here." I stare at him, dumbfounded. I fainted on him. My face grew hot in embarrassment. "I'm sorry.." I mumbled out.

He grin and a dimple appeared on the left side of his cheek. Swoon. I guess I stared a bit too long because he smirked and said, "Take a picture, it lasts longer." I just roll my eyes at him.

"You wish." I said. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me, as if examining me. Then I looked at him, just staring into those swirling depth of green eyes. We just stared at each other, from another point of view, we might look like we were having sexual eye contact with each other but to me (maybe him too), this was a full on staring contest.

A minute passed and his eyes began to water and my eye was twitching so bad, I couldn't resist the temptation of blinking and so I did it, I blinked.

"Ha! I win." he smirked and wiped his tears with the back of his sleeves. I glared at him and stuck my tongue out. "That's so mature." he said rolling his eyes. "I demand a rematch." I spat. "Now, now pretty girl. I'm starting to think you actually want to stare into my eyes all day long and not a staring contest." he said, raising an eyebrow. I scoffed and said, "Don't be so full of yourself, Matthews." I went to get up from the bed.

"Later pretty girl!" he called out to me, ignoring him as I walked out of the nurse's office. Looking at the clock on my phone, class was about to end and I decided to just skip to the end. I sat down by my locker for my two best friends to show up. I started humming to a random song when the bell rang, signalling the end of school.

The halls were suddenly filled loud chatters. I wrapped my arms around me and hung my head down low. Hiding my face behind the mops of my brown hair. I really can't handle being around people, I get tired easily. Where were my friends when you need them?

"Hey, you okay?" a very familiar voice said. I peeked from behind my hair and groaned silently. I really didn't want to deal with him, so I just nodded, hoping he'd leave me alone. After a few minutes of silence, I felt a presence right beside me.

"Hey weirdo, what's wrong?" Jaxon said, tugging the strands of my brown hair. I push his hand lightly away and glared at him. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Why are you here, Jaxon?" I said tiredly.

"Why can't I be here?" he retorted and smirked at me. I -attempted- to roll my eyes, which I failed miserably at. I probably looked like I had an eye problem because he laughed.

Staring at him, I noticed that his laugh sounded deep and velvety, and there were two small dimples on the corners of his lips. There was a scar right by his lip, his freckles were scattered on his nose and cheeks. His eyes were closed as he laughed, making him look ten times more attractive than he usually is.

His laugh was very contagious and I found my lips curling at the end. He finally sobered up and opened his eyes to look at me. I wiped the smile away and stared at him. He still had a ghost of a smile on his face.

"You're really something, kitten." he said. Then he stood up and ruffled up my hair, making me glare at him and fix my hair. I watched him walking away from me. "Don't call me that!" I shouted at his back, in which he returned with an 'I-don't-give-a-fuck' face. Noticing some curious student looking at me, I duck down.

I focused on my shoes when my two very late friends came with messy hair and swollen lips. I knew what they did. I shook my head and glare at them.

"You guys made me wait for you for what? A tongue battle behind closed classroom door?" I snapped. They looked startled by my outburst. Seeing the look on their faces made me realize what I said was really mean.

"I'm sorry guys, I had a bad day and you guys being late just made me even more upset." I mumbled looking down.

"It's okay, Rory. We're sorry for being late." Lucy smiled at me softly. James nodded and smiled at me.

"Well, let's go. I need to go home and take a nap. Next time, try to keep your tongue battles at home." I smirked at them and saw them blush but nodded nonetheless.

Finally, out of this hell hole.
