Or even just let you out to graze
But in a way
I'm glad you left peacefully
I glad it wasn't filled
With hardship and pain
I glad you ate first
And that you didn't have to hurt anymore
That you didn't have to know
That I got to say goodbye
But still
I'll miss you
And I'm almost crying
But I can't right now
I wish that I was home
So I could cry myself to sleep
This sadness is so deep
And it seems to creep
Right up behind me
And surprise me
Every time I've thought im through
So amore I love you
