A/N: Flash Forward to 2022 but no pandemic talk
Eve POV
It's 2022 and a lot has happened: people had kids, got married, broke up, and just being fabulous. Ayesha and Steph have three kids now, including a boy name Cameron. Draymond got married. Kevin Durant requested a trade and now he is in Brooklyn, right along with me. Hanging out with Ayesha got me more opportunities which made my relationship with Klay suffer. He wants a housewife and that's not me, especially to a ball player. He was recently dating Laura Harrier and I think they make an interesting but cute couple. I'm single and I travel a lot, mostly back and forth to L.A from NYC. I still hang out and am friends with Ayesha, Steph, Dray, and Kevin. Which of course, was awkward at Draymond's wedding. I was sitting at the singles table which was two tables down from Klay and his girl. That man barely took his eyes off me.
And who knows what's going to happen when I came back to L.A, next week. Because I'm still in love with Klay.
Klay POV
A lot has happened: I got injured and won some rings. However, I still didn't get the most important ring, a wedding band. I thought Eve and I would be married by now and expecting our second child. But no, she left me to become some girl boss in the food industry world. I thought we were on the same page but I guess we weren't. Now I'm off and on with Laura, trying to act like I'm in love with her and happy. But I'm not happy because Eve is not by my side.
"Aye, Klay. Eve coming back next week and we are all having dinner together. You are invited. *Steph
"You ain't slick.
"I wasn't trying to be. It's time to get your girl back.
"For real cause, we can tell you ain't happy with the old girl. *Dray
"I like Eve, she balanced you out.*
"Yea, basketball nerd and foodie. It was like Ayesha and Steph but cuter. Eve kept you on your toes. *Dray
Steph gives Dray the finger as I laugh.
Laura and I are off, so I'm free to pursue a relationship with Eve. I still love her and I'm still addicted to a bbw.
