It's about to be the start of the season therefore its Ayesha and Steph annual bbq/party for the team and staff. I guess its a good idea because of the newbies like Kevin but I'm just here for the food. Of course Hannah isn't here because anything basketball related she bails. Yes she doesn't come to games or even watches from home. I don't care though cause she serves her purpose and I'm okay with the way our relationship is. Not everyone wants to be Ayesha and Steph.

Anyway I'm eating and trying not to choke as Dray and Kevin are talking. Turns out Kevin is a cool and funny guy. Apparently he is Dray new bestfriend and Dray says that Kevin and him are the chocolate version of Steph and I. Which is what he is saying now.

"So y'all would be chocolate splash?* Klay

"That sounds like a stripper name. *Dray

"Chocolate milk? *Klay

"Corny. *Kevin

"Milk duds?

We turn as a new voice speaks which belongs to a short, brown woman.

"Do people still even like milk duds? *Kevin

"I have no idea probably pregnant women. My name is Eve.

We all say hi and then continue to brain storm. At one point of the conservation, Eve tells us she is a new friend of Ayesha. She is works at Food Network and she is a food blogger. Of course Dray and Kevin flirt with her while I laugh at them. She goes to the bathroom which leaves us to ourselves.

"She is gorgeous. *Kevin

"yea. I usually don't go for thick women like her but damn. Cute face and a big ass. I would definitely smash. *Dray

Steph comes over to us

"Y'all talking about Eve?

"yes they are. *Klay

"So what did you think about her, Klay? *Steph

"She is alright, not my type as you know.

"She told Ayesha and me that your her favorite player. She likes that you seem reserve and quiet because that means you low key freaky.

"Damn. The light skin one wins again. *Dray

"Did you tell her I'm taken? *Klay

"Yea but I don't think she cares.

"Oh god, she is one of those crazy groupies. *Klay

"Nah, I don't think she is. Ayesha likes her and she seems down to earth. Not crazy but she could be hiding it well. *Steph

"Whatever. I don't want to find out.

*Later

I'm walking on the beach while Rocco runs around and plays in the water. I notice some hot women in barely there bathing suits and I go to get there numbers. I turn back to the water and notice Rocco is gone. I start to call him but he doesn't come running. I walk further down the beach and find him getting petting by some woman.

"Rocco.

He looks up but doesn't come near me.

"Hey Klay.

"Hello um

"Eve.

"Oh yea. Are you stalking me?

"What?! no.

"Uh huh.

"I love the beach and Ayesha recommend this beach to visit. I didn't know you come here.

"Oh.

She gets up which makes Rocco whine.

"I'm sorry. It's just Steph told me that I'm your celebrity crush

"So that equals that I'm going to stalk you now. You conceited bastard.

I roll my eyes

"This is why I don't talk to women like you.

"What the fuck is that suppose to mean?

"Loud mouth black women, duh.

She glares at me but I don't care.

"A loud mouth black woman is one day going to be the only one that is going to have your back, the only one that will fight for you and you ain't going to know what to do.

"Uh huh. Is that going to be you?

"Of course. You need me cause obviously these little blonde air heads is feeling your head with fucking nonsense. I notice how you look at Steph and Ayesha with envious eyes. You secretly want a woman that is going to support you and make a better man but you ain't ready for that. But don't worry I will be there when you are. I will be here to check you when your being an spoiled ass, when you lose/win a game or when you just want to be angry and say disrespectful shit to me. I'm not going anywhere so you just going to have to enjoy seeing my face.

I start walking and Rocco licks Eve hand then follows behind me

"Just watch Klay, I'm going to occupy your thoughts.

That woman is crazy and I will never have feelings for her.
