Aether Harem

CHAPTER 6

The silver haired male waited under the bed for a while waiting for a chance to escape.

"So, that's how you are going to be..." an ominous voice spoke, "very well then, I have other methods that can get you to comply."

Receding footsteps could then be heard, followed by the door being slammed.

'It should be alright now' thought Aether. He got out from under the bed and found his clothes. He quickly got dressed and creaked the door open a bit, keeping a look out if someone was stationed at the door, the hallway seemed desolate. A perfect opportunity.

'I need to leave quick, it wont be long until they realise that I never left the room to begin with' with that, the doctor stepped out the room and sneaked down the hallway. He stopped in his tracks when he spotted a guard passing through.

An idea came in his mind

The guard had a similar build as Aether and looked kind of weak. 'Well I do need a disguise'.

Aether grabbed the wooden drawer that decorated the hallway and ambushed the guard, hitting his head and giving him a concussion. Aether dragged him to an empty room in which the guard was stripped down to his underwear. Aether exited the room now disguised as a guard with a hat hiding his face and long hair.

"Mr. Zhongli, we have searched the entire place but we still cannot find him" on of the guards reported the progress of their search of the white haired boy to the now angry brunette.

'How incompetent', Zhongli's eyes darkened as he crossed his arms.

"S-sir, if I may" the guard spoke cautiously not wanting to anger his boss any more. Zhongli motioned him to continue. "There is a possibility that the boy never left the room".

"And you didn't think to tell me before" Zhongli's voice contained fury and emitted a dangerous aura. "I do not care what it takes, bring me the Abyssal prince or I will show you how dangerous I can be." the man sneered.

"Y-yes Sir" the guard frantically bowed and left the room in a hurry to resume the search.

Aether made his way down the hallway and took some stairs to the ground floor.

"Damn, how big is this place" he murmured while continuing to roam around the floor in search of an exit.

"Hey you there" A loud voice came from behind him. Aether stopped dead in his tracks, not bothering to look behind. 'shit, if they see my face its all over'

"Hey, I'm talking to you" the man approached the doctor quickly "What are you doing off patrol, show me your employee card" Aether turned around slowly, looking down. He searched his pockets and took out his stolen ID card and handed it to the superior.

"Hmm, It seems that you are supposed to be patrolling floor 5 section 2" The man in quired suspicious of the young man before him

"Ah yes, I was ordered to change my station and keep on the look out for an escaped guest" Aether replied trying his best to remain stoic, hoping that his cover wouldn't be blown.

"Is that so..." the man handed back the card to Aether. "Alright you are excused then... off you go".

Aether nodded and turned around, still keeping his head down and continued his act, relieved that the man didn't find out who he really was. But his victory was short lived

"Hold on" The man said, harshly grabbing the smaller males arm and turning him around. In the process the hat that was holding the whole façade fell off revealing the Aethers face. 'Ah SHIT' aether screamed in his head, frantic by this sudden change in plans. The man paused for a bit and furrowed his eyes.

"Wait you're th- ARGH!" Aether panicked and punched the taller males stomach, freeing himself of the harsh grip and ran making his escape. Nearing the exit, Aether smiled with hope, that was crushed by a blue- haired man with a sepia coloured skin.

"Not so fast" The man said with a sly smirk on his face, that man wearing an eye patched walked calmly towards the frightened male clapping. "I have to applaud your efforts for being able to get this far, but I'm afraid your bolt for freedom ends here".

"Oh for FUCKS SAKE" Aether said extremely annoyed "Just let me leave, I don't want to be involved in whatever you guys are planning" Aether pleaded the man in front of him, his voice breaking up a bit.

"Sorry doll, but I cant do that" The man approached closer to the smaller male. Aether was trapped, his only hope of escape was blocked, but he wasn't going to give up. The doctor turned around and and ran the way he came from but soon realised that it was blocked by a horde of guards who all had one objective, to capture Aether.

"Shit" Aether cursed under his breath, "I should have taken my chances with the eyepatch freak!" he said that a bit too loud so the blue-haired man behind him heard his comment.

"My my little storm, I'm hurt" the man chuckled

"Captain Kaeya! don't worry sir, we have this under control" one of the guards exclaimed. While the guard was distracting Kaeya Aether took a running start and jumped on Kaeya, tackling the captain on the ground.

"You really are a feisty one aren't you" Kaeya smiled weakly, his eyebrows furrowed. He groaned from the rough actions Aether had taken. The doctor quickly got up and ran all the way to the exit of the building, running through the garden surrounding the building. He had gone all the way to the front gate of the compound when he suddenly tripped on the harsh concrete.

"FUCK, why did I have to fall now?!" Aether cursed again, the palms and knees were stinging as he stood up and resumed running towards the gate.

There it was, sweet freedom right behind this gate. The only problem was how he was going to get through the gate. Aether sighed and started climbing the gate. He was half way through when he felt someone grab him from behind.

"Sigh~ Well fuck" that was his last words before he was yanked of the bars of the gate and held in strong arms. A cloth was placed over Aethers mouth where he could smell a strong chemical odour. Aether struggled hard to get out of the grip of the person who was holding him from behind. He tried everything: scratching at arms, kicking and trashing around but it was no use. The chloroform had already started taking effect.

Aether looked up weakly and saw a glimpse of long blond hair and a stoic face staring right at him. Aether's eyes closed as he fell limp in the arms of the blonde.

"This strain of chloroform is very affective, it put him right to sleep"
