A Jeankasa Fanfiction

✨ Part 7 ✨

Jean slept until his alarm went off. He groaned and rolled out of bed. His body hurt a lot more today than it did last night. Jean limped over to the closet and grabbed some new clothes out, he took his clothes off and put on the clothes that he had picked out. The he limped over to the bedside table and took out a few painkillers. Jean swallowed 3 of them and then limped out of his room and downstairs with his backpack. He kept his head down as he slowly walked to school. 

He arrived after about 20 minutes and sighed softly then walked in. As his body didn't hurt too much anymore, he walked a bit faster but not too fast. Jean took out the books that he needed and walked to his first class of the day. The boy sat down in the back and started to do the assignment, hopefully I don't see Mikasa or Armin today. I'm not really in the mood to even look at them, he thought for himself and sighed as he did the assignments that were assigned. Jean did notice that he wasn't thinking of Mikasa too much which lifted his spirits a bit. A small smile formed on his lips.

Mikasa woke up to Armin gently shaking her shoulders 

Armin: "Mikasa... Mikasa, wake up.." 

The girl slowly opened her grey eyes to see Armin's beautiful eyes behind his blonde hair which had a golden color in this morning sunlight, he was also smiling so adorably.

Mikasa: "Mm.. Good morning.."

She slowly sat up and stretched herself while yawning, then looked at the clock. We have exactly 57 minutes left until we have to be in school. It's not much, but enough. 

They both dressed up, Armin in the bathroom and Mikasa in her bedroom. Then they went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. It nothing special. Just cereal. they talked about what classes they'll have today and some other random stuff. After breakfast Mikasa just put all the bowls and spoons in the sink, she didn't have time to wash them now. 

Mikasa sat behind Armin on his bike again on the way to school, like yesterday. They soon arrived and said goodbye for now then went to their lockers. Mikasa took out her stuff and walked to a classroom. In this class the main topic was grammar. Mikasa rolled her eyes but she couldn't do anything about it. She was a good student, but that does not mean that she loved every class.

When Jean was done with all of his assignments for that class, he slowly got up and walked over to the teacher, gave her the assignments and then walked out of the classroom. He walked over to his locker and groaned from the pain. He really didn't want to be here, he knew that Mikasa would be in the next class and he didn't even want to see her. Jean sighed as he knew he had to go to class so he got all of the books and went to the classroom where he sat down in the back and looked out the window as students walked in. Jean made sure to stay as quiet as possible. He do hate school but if he gets into college he wouldn't have to deal with his dad at least, and he could possibly change himself that way.

Mikasa sighed as she walked to her locker and took out the books needed for the class which she had together with Jean. She really didn't want to, but nothing could really save her. Mikasa walked inside the classroom and looked over to the desk where Jean usually sits, realizing that he wasn't there made her roll her eyes and look away. But something got her attention so she looked back immediately. Something was wrong. When she saw him in the condition he was in, she flinched a bit and made a grimace. What could have happened to you this time? She got to an empty seat and sat down there. I'll talk to him after this class... Not because she want to, but she was somehow worried.

Jean was too caught up in his thought to even start his work. When the bell rang, he looked down at the paper that was in front of him with a small sigh. Jean slowly got up and picked up all of his stuff. He rubbed his eyes but winced in pain as he forgot about the marks and bruises. He groaned and walked out of the classroom. Jean went to the locker and put all of his stuff away then took his water bottle out and took a sip. He then sighed and put it back in the locker, looking around in the locker for a mint as he was getting a lot hungry. Jean found the mint and took it out of it's package. He chewed on it as he took his books out for the next class.
