sorry for the late update i needed to focus on my studies

"hey uh.... do u wanna watch a movie?" aether asked Xiao
"no. movies aren't really my thing" Xiao replied
"oh..." aether sighed
silence filled the room
aether got up from the sofa and started walking to the kitchen. Xiao noticed aether getting up cause u know he's actually been observing aether not his phone.
Xiao looked at the blonde male walking and proceeded to watch him
aether pov
'im bored.. hmmmm what should I do...... !!! aha! I should bake' i thought and started running around the kitchen.
"cooking book.... cooking book.... ! there it is" I muttered and jumped very high to reach the cooking book.
"few I finally reached it, now.... where is this chocolate cake recipe" I muttered and started flipping through pages of baked recipes
'thats a lot of ingredients. I sure do hope I have those here' I sighed and started opening the: fridge, cupboards, and jars.
after a few minutes
"ahhh.... I'm so glad I have the ingredients, thanks dear sister for shopping every week." I said to myself happily
(halfway through the making)
"err stir the mixture.... EHHH it doesn't say here if I should mix fast or slow.." I panicked cause this is my first time baking. "don't worry aether i'm sure it'll go fine" I muttered trying to boost my confidence.
stir stir stir stir
"eckk I got it all over me ughh sticky." i muttered. sigh " I hate getting dirty" I whined and proceeded to stir the mixture
"ptff" i heard as i turn around. it was xiao trying to hold his laugh
"oh god this is so embarrassing" i muttered as i cover my face with my hands.
I turned redder as i hear xiao laughing at me
after some time, the giggling stopped, but I could hear footsteps coming towards me, and after some time a hand touched my hair patting it gently
"don't be embarrassed. I'll help you" xiao said in a caring and tone as he pats my head
I nodded still covering my face
"but first clean yourself up and put on a clean apron" xiao said
"okay..." i muttered and went to the bathroom
after i got myself washed up i went back to the kitchen and saw xiao putting on lumines apron with his hair tied up
I blushed like a tomato and zoned out for a minute or two he turned to me and said "what are you waiting for? Christmas?" he said sarcastically
I giggled and walked to him
xiao pov
"he's so adorable in that apron" I thought trying to keep cool around aether
"okay, so first take this and then crack them open and put them in this bowl" I said pointing at the ingredients
"umm ok?" aether said hesitantly
(third person pov)
xiao let out a small chuckle as he watches aether trying to crack eggs
"ptffff-"xiao let out a small laugh and instantly covered his mouth.
aether felt embarrassed resulting to his instinct to cover his face and dropping the eggs.
"ahh I'm so sorry!" aether pleaded because he made another mess
"ptfff- d-dont wor-ry ptffff- it's fine" Xiao replied trying to hold his laugh.
the blonde male turned red out of embarrassment covering his face once again.
"don't worry this time I'll guide you and your clumsy af hands" Xiao said still trying to hold his laugh.
"it was no problem, really." Xiao said locking eyes with aether and smiled softly
aether saw this and started to blush " omg omg was that a smile???!!!!!! haaaaaaaaa he's so cuteeeee and handsome I'm gonna dieee" he thought
the blonde male smiled back in return
"god why is he so beautiful" Xiao mumbled being lost in thought
time passed: aether fell asleep
"it's already 7:00pm I need to go home" Xiao said tapping the blonde males shoulder trying to wake him up to say goodbye
