How were the Aquino's able to keep their large track of land of more than 7 hectares?

Insights:

We simply decided not to know. Although I do not even really like the Aquino's or the Cojuangco's, to be fair to them, I can't really claim that anything in their past justifies depicting them as being any more evil than the typical dictator. After all, huge landholdings and incredible wealth aren't attained by being good men. Their power is the key to keeping their large track of land. If you have power, everything else that you want can be acquired. It may seem that they are selfish to keep more than 7 hectares, while other people, especially the farmers, couldn't get any small pieces of land. They have the power to keep track of land. They can have ways of claiming what it is that they want.
