"So what you're saying is this book appeared on my doorstep and made everyone dissappear and now we're the only ones in the enitire world with demons coming after us and the book"

"Yeah, that's what I've been saying for the past thirty minutes John, you're really slow are you sure you're a leapian" Anna asked as she took a sip of her coffee, we were currently in a cafe downtown, she hotwired one of my neighbours cars I didn't ask her how she learnt how to do that because I was too busy trying to figure out what was going on.

"Are there other people like us?" I asked

"No, just the two of us, there are only two leapians born every millenium"

"Could you explain to me one more time"

"Fine" she said "but this is the last time"

"Ok"

"Every millenium two leapians are born to different families, a boy and a girl, when they are of age the book appears, noone knows where it came from, noone knows what it does and noone can understand it except the two leapians, as soon as the book appears everyone dissappears, everyone, children, old people, even animals and the only two people in the world are the leapians and thats when the demons start to appear, just like the book noone knows were they came from but when they arrive they come after the book and the leapians, noone knows why, all I know is we're supposed to read the book and figure out what it wants us to do to get everyone back and kill the demons." she explained

"How do you know all this?" I asked

"You don't need to know" she looked like the kind of person with a lot of secrets, I could sense it, I didnt know how but I could.

"What happened to the last leapians that had the book?"she looked very uncomfortable when I asked her that question.

"They were killed by demons"she said

"How, and if they were killed how did everyone reappear?"

"How the hell am I supposed to know, it was an entire millenium ago"she looked really frustrated so I decided to stop asking her questions for a while.

...

"I think we should get out of here before another demon shows up" I said as I stood up from the chair. Anna was still trying to study the book.

she looked really confused "There's nothing useful in here, there's just a bunch of clues on each page"

"what does the first page say" I asked, instead of telling me she shoved the book in my face.

'You must see to believe' it read, it took me a while to finally understand what it meant "well I guess that explains the demon that tried to kill us" I said

"What do you mean?"

"I would never had believed that everyone would disappear and demons would start attacking if I didn't see it myself, the book is giving us clues on the things that are going to happen to us" I explained

"All we have to do is figure them out" she said

"Exactly, so what does the second page say"once again instead of telling me she shoved the book in my face, something tells me she doesn't like reading very much.

"You didn't have to shove it in my face" I muttered

'You need to understand eachother before you can understand the book' I read out loud

"What does that mean" she asked

"It means we better start getting to know eachother and we need to do that fast" I said and kept the book on the table.

She stared at the book for a really long time, her face was blank and emotionless so I couldn't tell what she was thinking but she looked really deep in thought.

She finally looked up at me, this time her face showed little emotion, she looked like she was trying to figure out something but she couldn't, then she sighed loudly.

"Let's get this over with, what do you want to know?" she asked
