if shisui was away on a mission while itachi was still in the village, itachi would use one of his shirts as a pillow case. but would have to take it off and hide it in his closet when he left so his parents wouldnt question him.
Shisui did the same with any spare shirts Itachi left over at his house, except he didnt have to hide it from anyone but itachi
