My one and only

Chapter 4

Felix Wood's POV

"So what about this movie?", we have been looking for a movie for 40 minutes and she didn't like any of the one I recommended. "No, I already saw it, it was not that good." she replies.

She does this everytime we are looking for a movie but each time I am surprised. "Alright, you pick a movie, I going to the bathroom" I tell her, "Okay" I get up and walk to my bathroom and wait till I hear a movie play and I act like I actually did something in there.

It's always the same, we try to find a film to watch she says no to my suggestion, I say that I need to use the bathroom and make choose the film when she finally picks one I get out of the bathroom. I don't think that she noticed that she always does this but it's almost like a tradition now, well at least for me.

I walk back to the bed and see that the movie we are going to watch, is actually the first movie that I proposed to her. I look at her and all she's doing is smiling and I do the same, her gorgeous smile is fucking contagious.

We watch the movie till the end, more like I watched the movie till the end Kayla fell asleep in the middle of the film. I turn the TV off and I check the time, it's only 6:30 p.m. I will let her sleep till 7:30 p.m., I will wake her up so that she can do her skincare. Last time I didn't wake her she beat me up, can't make the same mistake twice can we. I send a message to my mom to tell her that Kayla is sleeping so to not come in the room and I do the same with my brother. Kayla wakes up at the slightest noise so everytime she sleeps over or anywhere I make sure there's the least amount of noise.

Time sure past fast when you are stuck in thought and on your phone. I have to wake her up. "Come on Kay, it's time to wake up it 7:30" "hmm" she says back "If you want to keep sleeping you have to at least do your skincare routine." I tell her "But I thought that I was already pretty and I don't need that, that what you said?" "I still think that. It's you who told me to always make sure that you always do your skincare." "Okay, okay." she says as she get up and walk in front of me and tells me "Let's eat first then I will do my skincare and sleep. Alright?" and she extents her hand for me to take. I smile at her, take her and get up.

"Kayla you took a good nap?" my mom asks "Yes, I did Mrs. Wood." Kayla replies. She sit down at her usual place which is beside me and start to eat. We are eating spaghetti and Kay like her spaghetti with a lot of cheese so my mom always get the cheese out if Kay is there. We all talk and eat, thirty minutes later we are all done with the food and me and my brother clean the table while Kayla makes her way to my room probably to do her skincare.

"I am going to do it this weekend." I tell my brother. "You going to do what?" he questions me. "I'm going to ask her out." I reply to him with conviction. He gasp "It took 13 years for you to finally get some balls to ask her," he fakes wiping a tear "I can finally be proud to be your brother."  I just roll my eyes and go back to my room. "Kayla?" I call out "Yes?" she replies. I sit down on the bed and try to built my courage and ask her "Are you free tomorrow?" "Yeah, why?" Oh lord. "I was planning to go somewhere and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" "I don't mind going with you." she says as she walks out of the bathroom. "Okay, good. I will pick you up at 2pm." and she nods her head. I get off the bed and go in the bathroom to brush my teeth and when I get back in my room she was already sleeping. It's tomorrow that I will know if it's the end of our relation or the beginning of a new one.
