I walked into my house after dropping Henry off at our dads, even though I don't consider him my dad I still love Henry so I call him dad when around Henry. I walked upstairs and into my room. I set my backpack down on the floor by the door and walked into the bathroom and started a shower. While I was waiting for the water to warm up I texted Blake to come over in about an hour.
'Hey babe can you come over in about an hour. <3' I texted him, I waited about an hour and no response.
' Hey babe never mind I'm just gonna go to bed love you' I texted him kind of frustrated, but shook it off. I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth before heading to bed. I woke up to a text at 2:45 in the morning from him saying, ' Hey baby sorry I was busy, so do you still want me to come over?' I just ignored it and went back to sleep.
When I woke up I did my make-up, got into my cheer uniform, and then my hair. I went downstairs to say good morning to my mom, who is my hero and I love her so much she does so much for me and I can't thank her enough for all she does for me, right before she left for work.
"Good morning mamma, I love you, have a good day at work." I said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye sweetie, I wish I could come to the game tonight, but I have to work super late babe I'm so sorry." She said, sounding super bummed out. "I promise I'll make it up to you."
" It's ok mom, I understand. Do you think that Raphael will come?" I asked her about my step-dad. He's always been there to support me in everything I do. I love him like a dad, even though he and mom have only been together for 4 years, married for 2.
" I think he will. I'll ask him, ok?" She asked getting her jacket on, and giving me a final hug goodbye.
"Ok mom, just let me know." I said hugging her in return.
"Ok I will, bye Atlas." She added before walking out the door.
I still had about an hour before I had to leave, so I made myself some cereal, and scrolled on Instagram, while I ate. Before I left I made sure I had my homework, and everything I need for my classes. After that I walked out, locked the door and made my way to David's house ( my real dad) pick up Henry.
When I got there he was waiting outside. So I pulled into the driveway and unlocked the door for him. When he got in he had his jersey on for the game tonight.
" Hey bro, excited for the game tonight?" I asked pulling out of the driveway and make my way to the Dunkin down the street from his house.
"Hey, I'm excited for tonight. Are you cheering?" He asked, and I laughed
" No, I just wore my uniform for no reason!" I said while laughing, as we pulled into Dunkin.
"Oh. I guess your right" he said while laughing along.
"Hi, welcome to Dunkin Donuts, what can I get started for you?" The boy at the speaker said, when we got to the drive through.
"What do you want?" I asked looking at Henry.
"Large coffee with oat milk, and vanilla swirl, please." He said to me.
"Large coffee with oat milk, and vanilla swirl, please, and a large strawberry, dragonfruit Dunkin refresher as well." I said into the speaker
"Ok your total will be 12.67 at the first window please" The boy said out of the speaker again.
"Ok thanks" I said and started pulling forward.
I handed them my card, and they gave us our drinks. When we left we had about 30 minutes before we needed to be at the school.
