Kidnapped into Marriage: Priya and Dave

Chapter 25

Hello lovelies, I've been writing in Priya's perspective all this time but I've decided to write in the third person. The story is slowly revolving towards other characters in the story. Sorry for this sudden change but I hope you like it. Let me know what you prefer in the comments!

Dave sees his beautiful wife and son sleeping. He wonders to himself if the problems between her parents and her will ever get resolved. He picks up his son and puts him into his own bed. The one and a half year old looked so sweet. He couldn't believe he was blessed with such a child. Dave went back to his own bed. He lies down and wraps an arm around Priya who turns over and pulls herself closer to him in her sleep. He smiles at the thought of her little habit and kisses her forehead.

In the morning, Dave finds Priya keeled over their bathroom sink vomiting. She does not feel well yet again. He is worried about her health and she asks him not to worry. The doctor comes in again. She says that this vomiting may mean that she's not only tired but there may be something else. She asks them to come with her back to the hospital. They go leaving their son with Bhabi. Her baby and their son play together. Kavya and Dhruv have been growing together and Dhruv is the best big brother to his little bahena.

Our worried couple are at the hospital. After a few tests, the doctor reveals that what Priya is going through is something bigger than just fatigue and stress. Dave is worried and very tense. The doctor tells him to relax and says it's nothing to worry about but Priya is pregnant. The two are overjoyed. They could not believe it. Priya asks the doctor what happened because she was diagnosed as infertile earlier. The doctor said that it's a rare case but somehow it had happened and congratulates them. The two are shocked and as the doctor leaves Dave jumps and picks up Priya twirling in a circle before putting her down gently and sharing a kiss. Priya is shocked but very happy.

The two head back home where they are met by the worried family. They both look very grave and they sit down surrounded by their family. Popatji asks "Priya Beti, what's happened?" "Uncleji you are going to be having another grandchild" says Priya as she breaks out into a huge smile. The whole family is smiling, laughing, and celebrating. Dhruv is told that he might get a little brother or sister and he does not know what that is but he also smiles and laughs. Priya is happy to extend their family to include another person.

 Dave has another conversation with his dad. He's very close to him. Popat is closer to Dave more than he is with his other sons. Popat approves of his son's life although the marriage was rushed but he was glad that they figured things out somehow. He had not understood what he did with Priya's father was so painful at the time and he knows that she's suffering. He wants to make sure that Dave and Priya have a perfect life together. He has still kept contact with Jaiswala because he's an old friend but is troubled with what's happening between his daughter in law and friend. Dave and Popat decide it's best to leave it up to them and not to meddle.

As the months go by, Priya grows bigger. Dhruv asks her why she is so big. The parents laugh and tell him that Maa has a surprise inside. Dhruv gives the belly a kiss and goes back to playing. Our lovers are sitting and watching him. The few months that Priya has been pregnant, Dave does not let her work and takes on her job as well. Priya continues to help him by doing her own work from home and sending it to him to finish up. She is too bored at the house.
