Spiders

Often it's easy to say that webs are illusions of safety

but a spider's web isn't always a trap

sometimes it's a home

when a spider sits in wait all alone waiting

cutting webs out that aren't crystal clear.

a web is an honest desire

born from a hungry fire

and a desperation for survival

Often it's easy to fall for the comforts of a web so clear

Often it's easy to be afraid of a web, that clings to you

but if in your bones you know you can climb it's sleek threads

it's by no means a threat.

if you let the fear stew

you'll be adhered to it's surface

but it's important to remember that becoming trapped is not a webs only purpose
