Star Wars: The Book of VanX Kryze

The Raven's shadow

~Coruscant, the chancellor's office room~

Palpatine looked out at the many small dots that were hovercars moving people to where they needed to go, he pondered about VanX as he was still labeled Killed by Cad Bane, despite that, VanX somehow naturally hid himself from being felt in certain places, and Palpatine had plans to exploit him as he showed to be a very promising replacement if Anakin is to fail him in the fall of the Jedi.

Speaking of which, Anakin and two other Jedi entered, those being Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi. "Ah Anakin, what news do you and your masters bring?" Palpatine said as he greeted the three.

"We come with news of the still prevalent Mandalorian Civil war, the Dutchess Satine has still not called for aid, despite they are losing the war." Obi-Wan said, starting the conversation, Anakin hid a smirk as he heard Obi-Wan concerned for Satine.

"Hm, the Mandalorians of the Deathwatch Army have still held up their oath of not spreading to Republic space?" Palpatine asked them.

"Indeed, King Mandalore seems keen on holding that promise, even returning their former Jedi Prisoner that was our messenger, unharmed." Mace Windu said, adding onto the information of the Mandalorians of Deathwatch.

"The clones are pressing the Separatists back from Naboo once again, the 501st have also returned from their mission on Mygeeto and aiding Kadi mundi, nothing new there Chancellor." Anakin said.

"Ah well it is great to hear from the three of you even if the news is minor in nature." Palpatine said

While the four continued to talk, Palpatine's plans were not altered in any way, but he did need some insurance, to either make sure VanX is dead or still alive and usable, so he deployed a secret group of elite clone troopers led by Arc trooper Fordo to find evidence of VanX's fate, using a stealth-based ship to make its way to Concordia.

Not one of these elite clones spoke as the ship made its way into Concordia and Fordo initiated a planetary scan and a ping went off to an unmarked set of buildings that was actually the Nite Owl HQ, Fordo ordered the pilot to land deep in the woods away from the Nite Owl HQ, he and his troops turned the ship off as to not attract any suspicion from any scanners, all of his troops followed him as they headed towards the direction the Nite Owl HQ. 

But soon they were ambushed by a group of Matching Navy Blue Mandalorian men dropping down and shooting at them with stun shots, the Elite Clone troopers didn't have a chance to react and Fordo was knocked out by the leader of these Mandalorians.

VanX looked down at the white and red striped Arc trooper he knocked out as his troops cuffed the other troopers, these new warriors that had similar armor to VanX were a splinter group from the Nite Owls, called The Raven's Shadow, led by VanX himself as Bo-Katan felt he was mature enough for a leader role, almost all of the men of the Nite Owls joined The Raven's Shadow and followed VanX, some out of respect, others out of Fear from Bo-Katan.

~Moments later~

Fordo groaned as he shook his head and he noted he was upside down, hanging by a rope around his feet, he looked around and all his troops were like this, and soon out of the tree line The Raven's Shadow members emerged, VanX approaching Fordo.

"Who are you?" VanX asked Fordo.

"We are under direct orders of Emperor Palpatine, to search for if VanX Kryze is still alive or dead." Fordo explained as VanX used the force to make him speak the truth, VanX then reached up and removed his helmet, now he had a similar headband like Bo-Katan, with the Nite Owl symbol on the crest of it, giving VanX a similar Hair set to his Aunt.

"Well... here I am..." VanX said solemnly.

After Everything was sort out, VanX warned Fordo to tell the Chancellor to never set foot on Mandalore and to never send any troopers on Mandalore or it's moon Concordia as well. Fordo nodded and he and his troops left, VanX turned to his troops. "They know to not return, we need to return to the Nite Owl HQ, you all rest up or train, I need to speak with Aunt Bo." he said to them, they nodded and everyone left and VanX went to find Aunt Bo, to explain what just happened.

~The Chancellor's office, Coruscant~

Chancellor Palpatine pondered over the intel he received about VanX still being alive, he grew worried almost, he was just a Mandalorian who knew how to use the force, what danger did he oppose to a Sith like the Chancellor? Anakin was the true Chosen One, not VanX...

"....Right?" Palpatine said out loud to no one in particular.

"Well, it's a matter of perspective Chancellor..." A man's voice spoke out from the darkness.

Palpatine turned around and looked, he didn't sense anyone there. "Who's there?" he called out.

"Oh only a... acquaintance... of sorts, a man of ambiguous choices..." the man's deep voice chilled Palpatine to his core but lulled him into a state of safety, he beat each one of his family members to death to prove he was a Sith, but this mystery man's voice was able to terrify and calm him.

then the man revealed himself, he towered over Palpatine, Palpatine had to look up a bit to see him, but he was shocked as this man had a similar face to VanX, but he was more older looking, longer more dark hair, glowing yellow eyes, but not the dark black veins from the eyes a usual Sith looked like, his clothing was an ornate blood red battle set of armored robes like the old Sith of the Old Republic, In fact the battle robes resembled that of lord Valkorion's outfit, the old Emperor of the Old Republic era, but just red instead of white.

Palpatine grew uneasy as this towering man slowly approached him, Palpatine then noticed the man had what looked like two double bladed lightsabers, one black and the other White.

"Are you here to Kill me?" Palpatine said, trying to regain his air of confidence.

"Yes." the man said plainly, then he quickly drew his lightsabers and widened his eyes and Palpatine froze, he had frozen the Chancellor with a mere look, he then activated his black lightsaber on one blade, its blade shot out and was a black blade similar to the Darksaber, then he activated the white one, this one shot out a white lightsaber blade...

"You will never get to see the Empire I will pillage from you..." the man said, his voice changing ever so slightly to sound like he had two voices before ending normally as he rushed the now Screaming Palpatine...

~Nite Owl HQ~

"Huh..." VanX said as he felt a dark feeling, like something evil was just killed by something more Evil, but familiar...

"Alright every one of you pansies, Bo-Katan is still scouting so I'll remind us on the plan on the siege of the capitol, as we have been Preparing, Saxon's Mauldalorians Hehe, have taken the Dutchess hostage, VanX right now is not in possession of the Darksaber, seeing as it's in the Jedi Temple, so VanX and his Raven's Shadow troops will travel there and infiltrate the Temple and retake the Darksaber, the Jedi will more than likely have it heavily protected, But VanX has proven in the past years he's matured and is almost a spitting image of his Mo-fuc-Aunt, a silent and deadly leader of Stealth, now any questions?" Ursa Wren went on a fun retelling of the plan.

"No Need Ms. Ursa, I know the plan, and If Anakin gets in my way... I'll try and Stop him.." VanX said as he and The Raven's Shadow geared up...

To Raid the Jedi Temple...
