Ayanokouji POV

I arrived at our meeting place, which was the mall entrance, there I saw a black-haired beauty in casual attire, I guess even she knows which clothes looked good on her. It only took a few seconds for her to notice me arriving since it was quite early.

"Yo."

I casually greeted her with a wave of my hand, but all it did was make me the recipient of her cold glare as I approached her.

"You're late."

"I think I arrived on time."

"You arrived almost a minute after our designated meeting time, I at least believed you'd be punctual."

Cold, really cold. I wanted to tease her by asking if she was looking forward to this, but I felt like she'll walk out on me if I did.

"I apologize then."

She ignored my apology or at least didn't bother acknowledging it and started started to walk inside the mall which I quickly followed, only for her to stop in her tracks and look back at me.

"Where to?"

"Follow me."

I started walking ahead of her, leading her to the second floor, heading to a not so popular cafe recommended to me by Matsushita, apparently it had a more expensive menu which made a lot of students just prefer the popular Pallet Cafe, but this cafe also offered a wider array of food.

*******************************

"This is the place."

I said as we arrived at the place. I could see Horikita eyeing the place, it was certainly a classy place if the exterior of the cafe is any indicator.

"Lets get inside, shall we?"

I asked Horikita as I held the entrance door open, waiting for her to get in. She stared at me for a bit before looking away as she entered....Did I do something wrong? I entered after her, quickly noticing how empty it was, there was only a couple of students aside from us and they were mostly alone. We took a table somewhere at the back of the cafe as a waiter quickly gave us the menu and left us to decide. Looking at the menu, they didn't just offer us stuff for a cafe, options for lunch was also available.

"Quite the expensive place you chose, though I guess that ain't a problem for you."

Horikita decided to speak up again, looking coldly at me as she held the menu, she was clearly still thinking of how I obtained my points.

"But it's quite private, don't you think? Please don't be afraid to order, I am paying."

I at least tried to get on her good side by reminding her  of my good grace.

"Obviously, I would've left already the moment I saw this place, I wouldn't waste my points for such a simple meeting."

Well, I tried, but she wasn't completely wrong, this meeting could've happened in either of our rooms really, so why did I set up this meeting this way? I had several reasons in fact, one, I needed to give her time to think, the more cautious she is of my abilities, the better. Two, while considered a private area, the few people present should stop her from causing any unwanted commotion, in short it will hinder her to force answers from me and third, I was hoping the food she ordered herself would stop her from having any idea of leaving before the discussion ends. Also not having any rumors of me bringing a girl into my dorm room was a welcomed bonus.
