Little Red

She had been told the story of little Red Riding Hood many times and everytime she read it she laughed. Gosh, people are so weird. They think that Little Red Riding Hood is just a story AND they believe that Little Red Riding Hood was a mere human mortal AND they believed that she had gotten a wood cutter to kill the wolf. They didn't know the truth because what they had heard was just a story that never happened and never would. The truth was that Little Red was Little Red Riding Hood and she was as real as the sky. Little Red was a vamp. The one and only werewolf hunter. She kept the town safe from the werewolves and kept the vamps and vamplings under control. She was thinking about all of this when a frantic knock came on her door followed by the sound of an arrow being shot. Plunk. She was horrified when she opened the door. "Oh my Gods, Eli!" she cried as she leant into the crumpling body of the boy she was so fond of. She stared at the face of her younger brother and wept bitterly, her blood mixing with the blood that trickled down his bare torso. She stood there sobbing into her younger brother's shoulders

" You were a pain in the backside but I didn't want you to die.I warned you many times to stay inside the wall unless you had your protector on.You knew what would happen if you ventured outside it , you know... knew " she stopped and broke down into tears once again. She took out the stake that had been used as an arrow and pierced through his heart, pinning him to the wall. A bloodstained letter fluttered to the floor as she did.

He deserved to die,we have warned you on several occasions that your kind should never trespass onto our land. The high council sent a skilled assassin but if he makes it back alive tell him to watch his back because she might pay him another visit if he trespasses ever again.

She felt more angry than fearful. Her judgement clouded by emotions she took her younger brother in and rested him on her bed, arms crossed over his chest. "Peace be to you for your eternal slumber" she bowed her head and a tear fell onto his pale face. His body crumbled to dust and seeped beneath the floorboards to be re-united with their mother, the Earth. She then glared at the letter then ran and ran until she reached the edge of the wall. Minutes went by as she stood there at the edge of the vamps territory.
