Lilly stared at her phone, scrolling through social media when she heard a noise from downstairs. She put her phone down and quietly walked downstairs. The noise got louder as she walked towards it. She looked around the corner and saw that it was her washing machine. She didn't think of it and went back to her room to get ready. Lilly's friends were coming over that night for a sleepover. When her friends, Katie and Emmalyn arrived, they went upstairs to Lilly's room and they were just chatting, eating snacks, and playing video games. They planned on staying up all night, but at 2:30 am, they heard the same noise that Lilly heard earlier that day.
