Lilly, Katie, and Emmalyn all quietly shuffled down the stairs to check what the noise was. Lilly wasn't worried, because she assumed that it was the washing machine. When they looked around the corner, the washing machine wasn't there. It went silent. Lilly turned around to see that Katie and Emmalyn were gone. The room got darker. Lilly rushed upstairs in fear. She opened her bedroom to complete darkness. The lights started to flicker, and the noise got louder and louder. Eventually, Lilly was surrounded by darkness. She heard nothing but the loud noise which kept coming closer and closer.
