Clawed on you(Supercorp story)

Chapter 1

It was a Monday morning and the employees of Jurassic world that lived on Nublar got ready to work and the employees who lived elsewhere were driving to the ferry.

Lena and Kara lived on Nublar along with Claire and Owen. Lena woke up grumpy 'I hate Mondays ' she thought to herself before  brushing her teeth and getting ready for work. Meanwhile a very cheery Kara Danvers woke up all giddy 'I love Mondays, the raptors are always so energetic' she thought to herself before getting ready for work.

Lena ran towards the innovation center "I am so sorry Claire" she said, Lena was wearing her usual Gray blazer and a T-Rex T-shirt with dark blue jeans. "Its alright Lena , you haven't missed much, today we will be going to the raptors paddock to check on how Owen , Barry and Kara are handling things" Lena rolled her eyes at hearing Kara's name "alright Claire" Lena replied with  a sigh.

Lena's POV:

We arrived at the paddock, and Claire and Owen kissed until someone cleared their throat , Kara Danvers the one person I didn't want to see today "hello Lena" she said with that stupid dopey smile she has, I internally rolled my eyes before focusing on my notepad "okay so me , Owen and Barry are going to chat" Claire said "behave" she added looking at me.

3rd person POV:

"So..." Kara started trying to break the silence Lena just took out her phone and started going through her messages "how are you?" Kara asked looking nervous "its a Monday , what do you think?" Lena replied before looking back at her phone "I like Monday , i think its the best day of the week" Kara said smiling her megawatt smile "well you are the only one here" Lena said before motioning towards the employees tired faces, Kara just shrugged "anything interesting happening in your life right now?" Kara asked "look, I woke up two hours ago and on one cup of coffee so I would rather not have Smalltalk with  a fellow coworker" Lena shot back "oh..." Kara said sounding disappointed  before smiling her megawatt smile again, Lena ignored the fluttering of butterflies in her stomach and looked back at her phone with a scowl.

Kara's POV

After Lena and Claire left Owen sent Barry to fill the mice buckets , leaving me and him alone "what's wrong Kara? you had that face since they left, Is it Lena?" he asked , I just nodded "why does she hate me?" I asked him "honestly I don't think she hates I just think she's tired"
"but its always like this , and i try to get her to talk to me but she is always on her phone and I don't know why she hates me" I said "why do you care if she likes you or not?" Owen asked me "Ihaveacrushonher" I replied fast "Kara I am going to ask for you to repeat that " "I have a crush on her" I said blushing "oh.." he replied "like today I really wanted to compliment her on her shirt because its funny but I was too nervous to and then she and Claire left" I said "me and Claire didn't get on the right foot either but after getting to know each other we got along well and one day she asked me out and I said yes and now we are engaged" Owen said and I smiled thinking about his and Claire's proposal.

FLASHBACK

I was in main street trying to build up the courage to talk to Lena when Owen came running towards me "Kara I need your help" "ok" I said "if someone would have proposed to you, how would you have wanted it to happen?" he asked, I sneaked a look at Lena ,she was talking and laughing with Claire "go to where you had your first date and tell her how amazing she is and pop the question and get someone to film it" I answered while looking at Lena "thanks Kara I owe you" I just shrugged "its alright just tell me when and where I wanna film it" I said smiling before going to ice cream parlor.

After a few minutes Lena walked in and I smiled at her waving her over and was surprised when she sat across from me "don't overthink it, its simply that i don't want to take seats from guests" I nodded my head in understanding, Lena then got up and ordered a mint chip ice cream, I took note of that so if one day I might need that info ill have it, I then also got up and ordered a vanilla with caramel ice cream "why am I not surprised?" Lena said from next to me , I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes.

After 20 minutes I got a notification from Owen 

Owen🐾: Kara go to Winston's we are sitting  outside 

Kar🐶: be right there, Ill try to get Lena there too ,I think she would want to see her boss/bff get engaged

Owen🐾:okay see you, I am so nervous

I nudged Lena on the shoulder "what?" "umm wanna go to see Claire and Owens date at Winston's?" I asked "why would I invade my boss's privacy?" she replied "believe me its worth it" "if she sees us you make an excuse" she replied before getting up and pulling my hand  towards Winston's, the touch made a jolt of electricity go up my arm.

We arrived and saw Owen and Claire sitting in a table laughing and eating "what are we doing here?" "wait for it" I then took out my phone and turned on the camera app , we then saw Owen get on one knee pulling up a ring and a shocked Claire "YES!" we heard before Owen and Claire kissed and people started clapping Lena too, I then finished recording and clapped too happy for my friend/mentor "thank you for taking me here" I heard Lena say from next to me , I looked at her with her hair a little messy from the wind and a small smile on her lips, she looked so beautiful. our trance got cut off from Owen running me and hugging me, after we pulled away I saw Lena and Claire hug, it brought a smile to my face.

END FLASHBACK

"I hope you are right" I said before we went to the raptors.
