×---------------------
He trudged against the wet grass, glistening ever so slightly from the rays of the early morning sun. The warm colours of the sky made the atmosphere ever so soft and relaxing. His wings followed behind him, dragging the glistering grass ever so lightly as Grian continued to wander around the open field. His soft golden-brown bounced with him as he slowly walked towards a beautiful flower field. Poppies, Dandelions, Alliums, every sight of flower were there. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, something that almost seems so foreign for the avian.
He sat down onto the ground, sitting comfortably as he admired the flowers that surrounded him. This felt quite cosy to him, almost as if he was at home in this area, where there is no trouble and worries to hit him in the face. His red sweater kept him warm from the gentle cold breeze of the early morning atmosphere, hair flowing ever so slightly from the soft breezes, flowers as well following with the gravity of his golden-brown hair.
He tensed as he heard soft footsteps behind him. He was about to get up and run before he heard an all too familiar voice. "Why hello there Grian." A cheerful yet calm voice piped up behind him. He turned to look behind himself, grinning brightly as he saw a familiar figure standing opposed to him. Chocolate brown hair that shines from the sun, as it danced with the gentle pushes of the wind, his emerald green eyes shimmered ever so brightly, complementing his purple clothing he's wearing. He stood there against the sun's rays that illuminated the world oh so brightly. Scar looked so perfect standing there, looking like an angel from the heavens, though in Grian's eyes, he was an angel that was given by God himself.
He stood up, from his comfortable position on the ground. Turning to face the other, his grin only grew as this was no trick of hallucination that was caused by his overwhelming tiredness, but an actual being, yet alone the person he was thinking off. "Well isn't it the one and only, GoodTimesWithScar." He said with amusement that laced around his voice. After a few seconds of standing there, he suddenly ran at the other, tackling them on to the ground as he trapped them within an embrace that was only filled with fluffy and sweet warmth of love. A soft laugh emitted from the male who was confined in the comforting hug.
Both the two males' faces were dusted with a shade of red as Grian gave Scar a short and quick, yet tender and loving kiss. Grian's arms were loosely wrapped around Scar's neck as he sat on his lap. His legs were as well wrapped around the other's torso, refusing to let go as if he were to release the other, he would disappear forever. Scar could only chuckle at the other's clingy affection, snaking his arms on to the other's waist, enclosing the avian into a tight, yet breathable hug so the other wouldn't fall.. Well, if he did let go at least-
After a bit, they soon changed positions to be more.. Comfortable to say the least. Grian was still on the other's lap, though facing in front instead of facing the other, hands were fidgeting with 2 poppies, stringing and knotting them together to try and make a crown of sorts. Scar sat on the ground, his head placed behind the avian's, as he played with the other's soft hair, of course the other hand wrapped around the other's waist, they wouldn't want him to fall unexpectedly, right?
The sun glowed against them, the warm light made them and the scenery so angelic, almost welcoming if it weren't for the fact that they are going through a war right now. Laughter erupted in the peaceful field, as the two males told each other jokes, brightening the mood quite a lot. "Finally!!" Grian cheered, his wings perked up as he said it, causing the male who he was currently sitting to jump in surprise. They chuckled once more with the males' antics, it's always fun to be a bit unreadable. Always gives off a reaction that varies per person, but nonetheless priceless.
They continued to laugh for quite some time, of course eventually calming as Scar was quite curious in what the male on him has created in their short while with being together. Though, Grian's wings stretched, in which Scar knew what he was about to do. Which made him warn the other in a joking tone, yet the other flapped his wings, bringing him up closer to the warm coloured sky. Soon landing behind the other, still not realising as his brain was still processing what just happened. Chuckling, he placed the crown on the other's head whilst ruffling his hair. In return, the other jerked up from the sudden action the other caused. Though laughing as this was a stupid yet funny way to show someone a present. Though, he loves those surprises, and Grian knows that too, so no wonder. "You look so cute, Scar!!" Grian said, gushing over how the brunette looked with the poppy crown. The warm colour clashed with the cold color of his suit, contrasting as the two laughed it off. They didn't care, honestly, they could care less. The time they spend with each other was meant for enjoyment, not some dumb clothing competition.. Then again, that would be enjoyable to do. Coming up with different clothing ideas that are whole heartedly stupid. Though, that is what makes it fun, no? Perhaps that'll be a story for another time.. As we are getting away from the point of the scene that's upon us.
The early morning sun soon turned warmer as the afternoon took over. It was no longer breezy or chilly. Warm heat replaced it, as they soon stopped when both their devices ringed in an annoying tone. Breaking their laughing fit, Grian sighed exhaustedly, he wanted to spend more time with his beloved.. But I guess it's time for them to part as their teams called for them. They gave each other one last kiss before flying off to their respective places. Doing their duties, and placing a facade of two frenemies in a battle to who would win this war.
The brunette looked below him as to see bright green grass mixed in with the dull purple coat of mycelium that spreaded all across the district.. He sighed out of annoyance. 'This'll be a long day' He thought to himself as he clumsily landed in front of the city hall.
