Gate (Part 3/4)

Somewhere

"Hey, why're even out here." Deep within a forest somewhere, 2 Huntsmen were conversing. 

"Apparently there have been reports of a... 'Monster' around here." The second guy spoke in a sarcastic voice, rolling his eyes. "The thing is, it's probably just a Grimm."

"Huhhh? Then why the hell are we out here! I was gonna drink tonight!" The first guy clicked his tongue. "What's up with these guys wasting our.... What the fuck?!"

The two suddenly stopped in front of a spiraling blue circle, both looking clueless as to what it was.

The first guy got the courage to step forward and touch it, only to quickly pull it back, feeling a pain spike up in his arm.

"Ouc!- Motherfucker..." The guy rubbed his arm, glaring at the thing. "What the hell is this thing!" 

The other guy was pulling out his phone, making sure to get a few photos from different angles. He then seemed to call someone.

"Hey, Coal, while we didn't find the thing, we found something- AHHHHH-" Suddenly, a large green hand shot out from the thing, grabbing the guy on the phone by the mouth.

"MPHFMPFHMPFH!" The guy dropped his phone, trying to struggle out of the hand's grip. Meanwhile, the other guy was quick to draw his weapon and strike at the hand.

"HAHH!" The greatsword struck at the large arm yet did nothing, shocking the two. Suddenly, the arm started pulling back into the portal, dragging the second guy with it.

"MPHFHF!" The man desperately struggled to get out, but his efforts were nought as he was brought into the portal.

"NO!" The other man rushed forward, trying to get to the other guy but it was too late. The man stared blankly before another hand grabbed his head and dragged him in as well.

(Pov Change)

"Huuu, it almost feels good being back in the original place." With a sigh, I exit the door as it dispersed into motes of blue pixels.

"I'd say that was successful." I looked around, quickly finding the door to the upper parts of the Gate and move on. "Wonder what's gonna be next."

"These things are called Imps... They look weird." I dodge the charge of the small, red creature with wings, watching it smash into the ground. I move to it and stomp on it's head.

"Now, let's see how-" I watch an Imp head fly past my head. "Geez, talk about speedy." I watch Igris decapitate another Imp, ignoring the other Imps that attacked him.

'I'm not getting much exp sadly, even with Igris carrying my ass.' An Imp smashed into the wall behind me. Soon enough, Igris was finished with the Imps and quickly returned to my side.

'Taking that whole 'protect me thing' a bit too serious.' But I guess it was nice. 

"Let's get moving I guess." I walk forward, Igris steadily following behind.

"Igris, slash that Imp!" At my command, my shadow burst from the ground forming into Igris who rushed at the Imp, cleaving it in two.

Okay, I was having some fun. It's been like 5 days or something since I've seen a person. I was just curing my boredom, or atleast trying to.

"Weird to say, but I kinda miss Raven." Idly chewing on a piece of meat watching Igris decimate the Imp population I couldn't help but let my mind wander to Raven.
