It's cold.

It's so cold.

It's the coldest night of my life. I have run away from my house. I am sitting in a silent alley near the trash can hiding from the old man. It's so dark here because the street lights don't reach here. I can see a ramen vending machine a little far from where I am sitting but I realized that I have no money with me. I am a little hungry, but what's the point of feeding a body which will be lifeless in a few hours?

I have decided to end my life. Once it's midnight. I am thinking about all sorts of things. I feel a water drop fall on my face. After a little while. It is raining heavily along with the storm..as if the weather is matching my mood as well. I stand up in front of a tall building that was nearby. It's not any kind of an abandoned building or something. It is filled with people living inside their apartments. This is perfect for me because It has 17 floors.

Luckily there is only one guard on duty today and he had to use the restroom. This is my chance to sneak inside the building. It's 11:57 pm so the gates aren't closed yet. I must sneak inside before the guard comes back. I slowly reached the entrance and checked for the last time to confirm no one is around or watching me. As soon as I enter the building I run towards the elevator and get inside as fast as I could. As I am inside I hear the main gate getting closed. which means the guard is back. good! I have just reached on time. I pressed the top floor button. Now I am going up to end this misery of mine people call life.

Life itself is worse than death. In the end, we all have to die. So why not now?.. And besides, it's not like my death would affect anyone. I am already a burden on the people who knows me. I am going up deep in thought, I didn't realize I already reached the 14th floor. Just 3 more floors and this is over.

I am about to reach the last floor. The elevator stopped on the 16th floor. I can feel my heart dropping due to fear. Is someone coming to get me? Is it the old man..?

The main gate was closed at midnight. And I am sure I heard it getting closed. Who could it be..? Maybe someone came out of their apartment to get food or something? I quickly hide my face with my hoodie cap. As the elevator opens I see a tall man wearing a navy blue suit with a serious face. He has green eyes with glasses and brunette hair. He came inside the elevator along with another tall man who is wearing the same suit as him. The other guy has black hair and blue eyes. They look like in their 30s. As they are in the first man said to the other. "So you're telling me that you have looked everywhere and yet you haven't found that boy Mr. Chad how disappointing of you! " he complained.

This man 'Mr. Chad' is apologizing to the other guy. Maybe business partners?

"Sir, I am deeply sorry for what happened the boy stole my car and ran away with it, I didn't even have any backup with me since you asked me to go alone," said Mr. Chad making an innocent face.

Poor guy. I feel bad for him. But moreover, I am feeling a bit uncomfortable standing here. I just need to get to the top floor and I will never see them again cool down Leo cool down it will just take a minute or two. I am trying to calm myself down.

The other man is mad. he turned to Mr. Chad which also made me flinch. "it's because you are an idiot. I sent you alone and trusted you with this duty assuming that you are smart enough to lure that boy to us. Yet you end up getting tricked by a teenager." he said angrily. Just a few more seconds. Leo just a few more seconds.

We have reached the top floor. I just need to get outside of here. Should I ask them to let me through? They seem busy. Should I maybe make my way out by pushing them? "Why did you press top floor?" asked the boss man. Is he talking to me?!
