Larry asked her friend, of what happened to him.
For her it was pure horror. He body was trembling by the memories in her head. She needed a minute to collect her thoughts. With regular breathing, she began to tell him, on the Halloween night three years ago.
Lola always took good care of her brother Simon. She always was there when he got into trouble, even though, there wasn't much for her to do. Simon had a lot of friends, between them and their parents was everything alright. There life's were perfect, but it all changed, on Halloween. Lola found some sketches he made a week before the incident, where he drawn himself, beside a slender creature. She assumed, it was just a phase he went through, but it wasn't anything like that. His sketches got more and more into detail, as the days passed. Simon had always drawn himself in the same way, but that thing...this creature...got more and more features: black, slender, suit, long fingers, many arms...no face. Lola tried to get an answer out of her brother, but he refused to talk. She knew he was afraid of something and got on his nerves, till he opens up. Lola managed to get one thing out of him, but only one. He told her about some bait you have to set out for it to find you. As she asked him what this 'it' is, he stopped talking. Simon had changed during the week, from an energetic, friendly, happy boy, to a tired, weak and thin corpse. Normally, for him was Halloween the best day ever. But this year was different. At first, he refused to leave his room, then he didn't want to dress up and the last one, frightened the entire family. Their parents tried to get him out of the house once. He kept on screaming, holding the doorframe. They were at the end of their strength, they knew he was terrified of something and still, aren't capable to protect him.
The end of the story was, that they left him at home that night. Their mother decided to stay though, so she could keep an eye on Simon. This was the worst fight Lola's parents ever had. The minute Simon was released from his mother's grip, he ran back into his room, locking the door. Lola regrets this ever since. Because by the time they returned from their trick or treat, a horror scenario was before them. The walls were all filled with drawings from Simon. Her father went into the kitchen. Lola heard her father scream at someone, "Give me the knife!" over and over again. Once she heard her mother cry, she also came into the kitchen. There she was, her hands were covered in blood, like she had hit her hand with the knife countless times. Lola watched her mother rocking on the seat, mumbling something...like...she was chanting.
Her father's scream got her attention, telling her to go and check on Simon. Immediately, she went into her brother's bedroom and froze. The entire room was covered in blood; also some drawings were on the wall, drawn with the red fluid. But Simon was nowhere to be found. One thing was for sure though...the blood...was definitely his.
Her mother never recovered from this night. She had tried to slit her throat the following day. Now she lives in a psychiatry and still, tries to kill herself. Lola and her father are in therapy ever since.
"I hope this clears it all" she finished.
"Was he found...I mean his body?" Lola shook her head. After three years, he was still missing.
One thing was bothering Larry on this, "How can you tell it was the Slender man?"
Lola glared at him, "Are you saying that I am making this up?!"
"No, but it's just..."
"Shut up okay, just shut up!" her eyes darkened with anger, "I know it was him."
Before Larry could even apologize, she ran back to her home, leaving him on the street. For him was this a shock. Not only because of Lola's story just now, but also that he was alone outside...on Halloween. In fear, he stopped the next car in sight, only to find his mother and Amanda inside. Larry's mother was furious, "Get in the car now!" But the minute he closed the door, she kept on yelling, "What were you thinking?! Getting out at such a time and that alone! What if anything have happened to you?!"
"Uncle Robert promised to get me."
"For all I know, this Uncle is dead meat!" Amanda and Larry knew, when she was in this state, you better not argue with her. As punishment, she took most of their candy away and Larry got grounded for a week. With her husband, she tired to contact this Uncle Robert, but it was no use.
Larry hears his parents argue about the uncle.
Even so, he couldn't sleep anyway. Lola's story just didn't get out of his head. Los tin thoughts, his sister Amanda sneaked in, jumping on his bed, "How was the party?"
"Go away Ama" moaned her brother out loud.
In her pink pyjama dress, she kept on bouncing on the bed, "You met a girl didn't you?"
"That is it to you if I did pink cushion?"
She slowly leaned slower to his ear, whispering, "Did you two kiss?"
"For crying out loud, leave me alone Ama!"
Kicking her off his bed, she went back to her room. One last time, she turned back and stuck her tongue out, "Meanie!"
