SAM'S POV

!Mention of stabbing and blood!

I woke up with someone poking me with a finger. I tried to come back to sleep but that fucking finger wouldn't stop and, with a fast movement of my hand, I grabbed the wrist. That gesture made the wrist owner squilled; probably not expecting that move.

"Stop it" I said, opening my black eyes and leaving my hold on the girl's wrist.

"Geez relax, kid" she said, looking down on me.

'Deep breaths Sam, deep breaths. You can't hurt a woman' I said in my head as I did exactly what I was telling myself: deep breaths.

Only when I was, more or less, calm, I took a few seconds to look at the girl in front of me. She was tall and skinny, with brown, mid-length hair and brown eyes. She was, for sure, around 20 years old, at least.

I scanned her, searching for weapons or knives; but when I saw that she wasn't a threat to me, I relaxed a little bit before standing up

I scanned her, searching for weapons or knives; but when I saw that she wasn't a threat to me, I relaxed a little bit before standing up. I wasn't taller but I would have definitely been if she hadn't worn those shoes with heels.

"C'mon Jenny, don't be like that; you know we can't argue, they wouldn't like it" another girl but smaller arrived near 'Jenny'.

This girl, differently from the brownish one, had blond, straight hair that was nicely tied in a ponytail. She was in comfortable clothes and Nike shoes. I studied her too while she was talking to what I thought was her friend, or something similar to it.

"Sorry for Jennifer but I promise she can be nice sometimes" blondie said smiling at me "My name's Grace, Grace O'Connel" and with that said, she extended her hand to me

I didn't take it, instead I looked at her and, without saying anything, I walked towards the door. I wasn't in the right mood to have new friends, nor did I want them to befriend me. I was good on my own, or at least with the two men who- wait a second...where are they??

I quickly look around, recognising only in a second moment the hidden room in the library. I looked at the black staircase, remembering the first encounter with them.
