That was 44 years ago. Now Will, after being aged by time and wisdom, sat with the pills in his hand. Life wasn't easy. It fucked him up. It messed with his head.

Time, or whoever was in charge, decided Grayson wasn't worthy. So when he was 17 he was hit by two motorcyclists racing. He died. Will was alone.

Bad luck followed him.

At 19, Will had found out he had lung cancer. His lungs were destroyed just as his life was starting. He survived, but his life wasn't living. He couldn't breath properly, ever.

Grayson dying ruined him mentally. Cancer ruined him psychically. And drugs ruined the rest.

He started at 21. He took simple things, small little drugs that wouldn't hurt him. But that small habit turned into much worse. Getting high was all that mattered.

He didn't eat for weeks. He stole drugs and sold everything for drugs. For a high. It's all that helped him.

So now, at 60, it was over. He took all the pills. The light soon came.

For once, he felt at peace. The light welcomed him into a new world.

He stepped into the light.
