Epilogue

"Theodore Vernon Trancy!" I yelled. "Get back here!" I chased after the three-year-old boy, my three-year-old boy, and as promised, I got to name him Theodore.

A'raya's wedding was starting in a few hours, and I made the mistake of waking Theo up at four am to get him ready because he was zooming around after he had his shower. He doesn't have control of his powers, so he uses them whenever he wants, and right now, he's teleporting around the house naked.

He also apparently has some witch qualities that came from me. I was confused because I thought I wasn't a witch, but Vincent's sister Vivian explained that I was, and I just never learned to use it, or my mom subdued my power. Anyway, I was interested up until the very point when she gave me a two-thousand paged book of spells to learn, and I took the book but not for me, for Theo, since he's a Vampire-Wizard.

I jumped into the chair, trying to grab this boy, and he teleported again. "Theodore, stop! Come back here!"

He teleported back into the hallway and started running, but Vincent teleported in front of him and caught him. "No!" Theodore laughed as Vincent teleported in front of me and kissed me while handing Theo to me. "That's not fair!" Theodore exclaimed.

"Life's not fair, tough titties, man." Vincent shrugged.

"Vincent, language!"

Vincent is why Theodore knows a lot of things he's not supposed to know; while it makes him more intelligent than the rest, it's also a nuisance when he curses in front of everyone in public.

Theodore took some kind of test, and now he's now a first-grader. His IQ has nothing to do with me and more to do with Vincent...I honestly didn't know Vincent was that smart.

Vincent shrugged. "He'll be alright, right buddy?"

Theo nodded his head. "Yea, mommy, I'll be alright!"

I finally put some under and clothes on Theo. "Vincent, be so non-fictional."

"I am non-fictional; he's gonna learn anyway."

I put some shoes on him. "We have so much time for that; right now is not the time. He's three."

"I'm three!" Theodore giggled.

"Yea, you are." I kissed his cheek and looked at Vincent. We have to be at the venue in a couple of minutes, and Vincent's still in pajamas.

"Vincent, be so fucking for real!" I groaned. "We have to get there in forty-five minutes; why aren't you dressed."

"Daddy's in trouble." Theo giggled, playing with his monster trucks.

Vincent snorted. "Relax; I'll get dressed, A'roya."

"Thank you," I said contently.

"Come with me for a second, though," he says suspiciously.

I narrowed my eyes. "What about Theodore?"

"He's asleep," Vincent whispered in my ear. I turned around and found Theodore actually asleep.

"Vincent, what did you do to him–"

"He's fine, just asleep; come on," I sighed as Vincent dragged me to our bedroom and closed the door. "Sit on the bed."

"What if Theo wakes up?"
