The Contract

Chapter 2

A week had passed since Kagome agreed with Inuyasha's offer. And until now, the scene still replay his mind as though it just happened yesterday.

He can't name the emotion ruling over his whole system. And he didn't plan in naming it either.

"Prepare my car." He ordered to the servant standing behind him. He received no response but it didn't worry him knowing how his staffs works. They work silently.

Enjoying the view of his garden from the terrace of his mansion. A smile unconsciously crept his lips as she thought of the maiden that has been occupying his mind the whole week.

Im going to be her boyfriend 'huh.

No one can measure his excitement. Even himself. He never felt that kinds of emotion before. Honestly, it's been bugging him. But he thought, maybe it's a part of bieng a human? Feeling weird undecipherable stuffs?

After minutes of relaxing, the servant came back to announce that his car is prepared. He just gave it a nod before giving it a sign to 'fuck off his sight!'

He first change from his bathrobe to a black hoodie jacket paired with black denim shorts. Today, his theme is black as he pick a black cap, black undershirt, black shoes, dark shades and even black socks.

After changing, he ordered the maids to get the brown envelope lying on the table inside his office. And when they hand it to him along with the car keys, he then flickered towards his car, revive the engine and drive towards his destination.

His eyes glistened seeing the establishment where he has been wanting to go.

After wearing a facemask he then placed the shades in his vision and fix himself after entering the Sacred Jewel main office. The place where he offered Kagome the contract. Of course he wouldn't go there without any reason. He just want to personally delivered the contract towards his dear girlfriend-to-be.

He didn't have to stop in the lobby to asked for appointment with the CEO, he just slightly remove his shades and wink at the staff. Then they'd be frozen in shock and unable to talk or even protest with his actions.

Hmp! Im here to visit my girlfriend-to-be and i want to do it quietly. That's why he brought no guards with him. Somehow he needed to use his charm on the female staffs to let him pass through and reach the CEO's main office.

As he made it to the tip of the building by an elevator, the mood immediately changed and he just found himself jogging and humming towards the CEO's office.

He almost grin as he made two knocks towards in the maple door where he entered a week ago.

"Hey Hojo didn't i told you to-" The maiden immediately stopped after noticing it wasn't Hojo who knocked the door. It wasn't Hojo who's standing before her.

It's a broad chest. A tall muscular figure. A well built collar bone. The square locked jaw. And the golden pair of alluring eyes.

It's Inuyasha.

"W-what are you doing here?" She sternly asked still holding the maple door as though she wouldn't let Inuyasha in. The young man just pouted by her attitude raising a brow at her.

Is that how she treat her Boyfriend to-be?

And it made him more furious after realising that kagome was expecting other man instead of her boyfriend.

"Wouldn't it be mean if you'd just let me stay here?" He mockingly asked leaning at the doorframe.

The maiden just let out a sigh as she pulled the door more open letting him in.

"From now on, you should expect me to vissit you often. Specially, im your boyfriend." He announced. Or more like. . . demanded?

While entering the vast office. His eyes centered towards the soft-looking sofa, so he immediately maid his way towards it and lay there as though it's his sofa in his territory.

"And why would you visit me? Hm?" Kagome ask as she march towards him. She looks like a wife ready to scold her husband for going home late. . . or something like that?

Inuyasha just smirked at her trying his best not to laugh at her expression. She's already adult but her face still looks like a teenager sulking.

Relaxing himself more, he handed her the brown envelope that he has been holding since earlier. The maiden was grumpy when she pull it away from him and open it.

Her brows met when she read the papers inside it.

"Sign it. And your company is considered saved. And the rumors about that secretary-Hojo, is it? Will disappear as though it didn't even existed in the first place."

He knew Kagome have no choice. As in nothing at all! So he will take this opportunity to get closer to her. It's like two birds with one stone, he could save her company and he and she will be rumored as couples. And why not? Maybe it will turn into reality sooner or later, right?

Kagome then walked towards the center table ang pulled an ink pen from her pencil case. She is still sulking when she finnished signing the two sheets of paper.

He made two original copies so Kagome would have one and he could have the other one.

Kagome handed him back a brown envelope, he opened it seeing a piece of paper with written treaties between their pretend relationship.

The young lady then immediately went back to her desk and continue what she have been doing since earlier: doing the Ceo's paperworks.

After minutes of signing and reading papers. The maiden blankly gazed at him who has been gazing at her since forever. She pouted while he just smirk playfully.

"You're not really going to leave?" She, sternly asked making him frown inside. He just went there and they haven't even talked properly but she already want him to leave?

"You're officially my girlfriend now." He teased. Playing with his car-keys.

"Then?" Annoyance is evidence in her voice. "Let me remind you Mr. Inuyasha Izayoi. . . Its just pretend! And we will only act like a girlfriend-boyfriend in public— what are you doing? Are you even listening?" She hazed at Inuyasha who is doing his phone.

"Babe." He called walking towards her and positioning his camera above him to take a selfie. "Cheese."

The camera clicked with her face bieng grumpy on e picture. Inuyasha have a slight smile on his lips as he post the picture on his social media with the caption:waiting for my girlfriend to Finnish her work.

Just few seconds, Kagome's phone vibrated, she opened it as a bunch of message bounce her screen. Her face got more crumpled seeing her picture with Inuyasha.

And since Inuyasha is a popular social media figure, alot of people had already seen the picture of them together. It's already aroung Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and even Tiktok.

"Inuyasha Izayoi! What th—"

"Now it's public. Let's go on a date."
