We made it to the gates of the estate and paramedics were waiting for us there. I got off Grayson's back and I was walked into the vehicle. They took an x-ray of my foot and found nothing. It was just a sprain. They bandaged it and gave me crutches and a boot to wear and I was good to go. I was let into the estate and into the house. Avery was waiting for me at the door.

"Amber you finally arrived!"

"Yeah I did"

"What happened?! Is that why you took so long?"

Grayson entered the house behind me. He was with me the whole time.

"Yeah"

"Grayson?" Avery asked.

"She sprained her ankle."

"How did you get home?! Why didn't you drive here?"

"I don't like cars remember and Grayson might have carried me home."

"You did?" Avery asked Grayson in a calm voice.

"What else was I meant to do?" Grayson replied. "I did"

"Thank you. Amber let's go to your room." She eyed Grayson. "and I'll tell you what I found." Avery helped me up the stairs and onto my floor. There was a sound of running.

"Amy Bear has arrive... What happened to you?!" Xander exclaimed. I knew it was him. He said Amy Bear. I turned to look at him.

"I sprained my ankle"

"H-How?!"

"I tripped in the rain."

"Rain?" Avery asked.

"Yeah it was raining there not here I'm guessing."

"Nope!" Xander said merrily.

I was lying down on my couch. Avery told me everything. Everything about each of the charities. What the brothers had said in Latin. There was a knocking at the cupboard. I knew who it was.

"Come in. You were going to do it anyway." Jameson opened the cupboard and climbed out. He eyed the boot. "Yeah, I know. Dramatic."

"Is everything ok?"

"Just a sprain." I didn't want to tell him about Grayson. About the details. "Did you need anything?"

"No. Just wanted to make sure you were back. But now that I am here. The one ladder you have left? It is the best one of them all."

"How?"

"You'll see when you heal"

"Ok. Bye"

"Back alleys?"

"One word is all you get understood?" Jameson nodded. "Cult. Now run along. Don't linger in my room any longer."

"A cult?"

"Out with you!" I said mockingly.

"Ok. Ok." He climbed back into the cupboard and I heard footsteps walking away. Next of course. There was a knock at my door.

"Come in!"

"Amy Bear!"

"Need anything?"

"Back alleys?"

"Seriously? You are the third Hawthorne to ask me that. First Grayson then Jameson now you."

"Sorry"

"No. I can tell you. The others would lock me up in this house if they found out."
