At school, I was assigned a new bodyguard and Avery's detail was my old one. I had never gotten my details name. I needed to ask him. I was finally allowed out of the estate and I could go to school. I got dressed that morning and I ate very little because I was in a rush.

The bell rang snapping me out of my thoughts and I walked to the teacher's desk to collect my homework and hand in my test. What if I failed? What if it wasn't enough? What do I want to be when I grow up? I found Jameson at the lockers with his friend group. Funny. I hadn't seen him at the house or in the classroom. I walked up to my locker Jameson noticed me there. He smiled slightly but then turned back to his friends. I stashed all my books and took out my gym bag. It had my dance equipment inside. My phone started ringing. I took it out of my locker and looked at the screen. Alisa. Did something happen? I felt eyes on me. I looked at Jameson's locker he was standing there looking at my phone with his friends.

I picked up the call.

"Alisa?" I ask.

"I've been considering some options and I think it best if you call your friend over. Let her be there for you in public instead of the Hawthorne boys." I freeze slightly, furrowing my brows in confusion.

"Why?"

"Did you see the news? You have been exploding. Sending wrong messages."

"I was told not to look at the news or my social media" I scoff.

"Don't look at it. Haven't you heard people talking about it at Country Day?"

"No, I try to not get involved with them" I look up at Jameson, his expression soft.

"All I ask is for you to stay away from them and call your friend over."

"Fine. No guarantees about staying away from the brothers though. They are everywhere."

"Am-" I hung up the phone and stuffed it into my locker.

"Everything alright? Alisa called-"

"Everything is just fine. She just told me to stay away from you and stay close to my friend"

"Oh. Sounds like Alisa"

"Sure does. Now if you would excuse me I have a class to go to" I step to the side and try to walk away but he steps to the side and I bump into him. "Hey" I take a step back but he places a hand on my shoulder. I cross my arms and give him a look.

"You want to ask me something"

"Maybe I do maybe I don't"

"About where I was"

"Yes, I might. So, where were you?"

"I went back to my mother" I feel my jaw dropping and my eyes widening but I quickly collect myself and look at Jameson.

"You did what?!"

"You're the one that went by yourself"

"Yeah, but I was getting somewhere. She likes chatting. So I chatted." Jameson's jaw tightened.

"She knows about you. She told me Ricky told her. That you weren't his. She thought about Toby. She knows. she can sell it to the press."

"She knows..." I mutter "Well I better go. Bye," I force Jameson's hand off my shoulder and run to class.

"Mystery--" I hear him running behind me but I enter the girl's changing room and he stops at the entrance. He sighs and I walk deeper in and get changed.

I was back at Hawthorne house in my bedroom. I was about to call Rosie to come over when there was a knocking at my door. I groan. I wanted to call Rosie.
